this db interferes with the online mode? because when a try to start a stage says that is impossible join the race because the stage as been modified and does not match the server. if not what is the problem? |

After installing 1.5 on a fresh copy of PCM 2015 (yes I installed it at the right place in game root folder) it crashes on loading a new career as well for me ! I admire your work but this issue is bothering me I spent ages downloading and installing the DB, as well as redoing that (+reinstalling the game) to make sure I didn't do anything wrong.
I run Windows 10 x64 pro by the way. |

It does ! Thanks a lot I actually saw this fix before installing the database but then forgot about it.
I like some of the stats efforts, like Vuillemoz (79 hills) even tho I feel like some riders are still too "flat". |

Hello,
I have downloaded this DB, but since the game crash every time that I try to play. It happens even if I play with the original DB.
Can someone help me ?

Are you sure you have installed the game in the correct path? If it crashes when you select single race it may be due to a missing local.cdb file, caused by a wrong installation. Ensure that you installed the Expansion Pack in the folder where you can find PCM.exe

I don't find the local.cdb so it might be that. I will retry to install the Expansion Pack, I hope that it will be OK 
But why sometimes the game don't crash ? |

The local.cdb is in the game path/Database, not in documents. I'm pretty sure you don't miss it but rather have the default one which won't make the game work well.

I have trouble getting things to work.
I just reinstalled everything twice and still I have the same result.
I can not see the DB ingame.
I installed the game.
I installed the games patch 1.1
I installed the PCM DB pack 1.0
I installed the PCM DB pack 1.5
I installed the PCM DB patch 1.6
I start the game.... and i cannot find the DB in the DB tab
I installed it all in D:\Games\Pro Cycling Manager 2015
What is going wrong here plz??? |

What went wrong is that the installer installs both the main files and the files for your Documents folder on one drive, in your case the D: drive. Look for the path D:\Users\*your username*\Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2015 and move this folder to your real Documents folder.
Inactive due to personal reasons.

Try overwriting your Local.cdb with the one you can find in the PCMdaily Backup folder.

Thank you for the reply and solution Haasje!!
I figured this out myself yesterday after i made this post...
I tested it 1 race in 'be a pro' and it worked like a charm ...
sadly enough the game always crashes while loading the second race...
i simulated that race once...
but during the 3rd race It crashed again ...
so i uninstalled everything and just installed the game and a real name DB for now.
I will wait for the 2016 DB to give it a new go...
Or do you have any other ideas? |

Can someone playing the game for a few seasons confirm that the PCM DB patch 1.6 is relatively safe to play ?
EDIT - Never mind - seems like the PCM2016 have a much better feedback - I will try that one.
