I don't get it. Why are you laughing? That sounds like a good route.
Oh it definitely is, just didn't expect it to win an award. And the cornfield was maybe a bit of an overkill in my opinion. With the rain the days before the race, they should have skipped that
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Froome skipping PN and Tirreno, going from Herald Tour to Catalyuna.
He did this last season skipping T-A, so looks to be doing the same program again. |

Hell I ever realized that Froome was paid that much.
Talking of budgets, I'm kind of surprised at the lack of budget spent by Giant on building a cimbing team to support Dumoulin better. You would of thought that getting Kittel off the team, would've given the team a bigger budget for a GT team. |

I think Degenkolb and Dumoulin doubled their value last year though. But yeah, Ten Dam is just Ten Dam, they'll probably won't even ride together much.

You're more than likely correct there. But I just see Dumoulin getting into trouble again on a hard mountain stage with hardly any teammates to help out. |

First wildcards were send out:
Giro d`Italia:
Bardiani CSF
Nippo - Vini Fantini
Southeast - Venezuela
Gazprom-Rusvelo
Not a big fan of the Gazprom invite. Think they could have found some better.
Tirreno - Adriatico:
Androni
Bardiani
Bora Argon 18
Caja Rural
CCC Sprandi
Milan - San Remo:
Androni
Bardiani
Bora Argon 18
CCC Sprandi
Cofidis
Southeast
Novo Nordisk
A bit surprised Stölting isn`t here with former winner Ciolek and other solid riders. Though no idea if they even asked for one. |

So no Androni in the Giro? That surprises me a lot actually
edit: and of course selecting Gazprom is a ridiculous decision, even if you decide to not select Androni

What happened there? Is there some bad blood between the Giro organisers and Androni? Or did some russian millionaire open his checkbook to get RusVelo in?
Either way, the Giro has had enough doping in the past, no need for RusVelo to be there.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

One foreign wildcard was supposed to happen. Southeast won the team ranking in the Coppa Italia and were a sure yes.
Androni really unlucky to miss out of the 4 Italian PCT teams.
Though with a start in the Netherlands, the foreign wildcard should have gone to Rompoot clearly...but Gazprom millions everywhere in all sports I guess... |

Same goes for One Procycling with Goss, who won in '11

Maybe it wasn't part of Stölting and One's plans to participate in Milan-San Remo or any WT race at all.
IMO Stölting will remain for only one year and after that - poof, it's folded. While for ONE - I don't think that they want to strain their budget that much. It's their first year in the Pro cycling after all.

Actually doubt this. They have big plans and already working on them.
Just like Bora Argon 18 they want to become WT in 2017!
While it`s not unrealistic for Bora Argon 18 I doubt that Stölting can make it that quick to be honest.
Also I hope those two won`t fusion to make this happen as this would mean less German teams again. |

That was before CULT bailed out.
Germany doesn't look to cycling with an good eye. In the past Pro-Cycling had 3 German teams - T-Mobile, Milram and Gerolsteiner. However after all these doping cases all big German sponsors began to bail out
