Nonono, not Eltink.
It makes it a bit harder to let him go but next year he will be almost useless for my team... |

At least all of my teams sent someone in the breakaway. No one on the podium though
At least we were already there

Flens winning the ITT is a massive upset.

Congrats on the double in Norway, viking!
Could have (should have?) won the race in that scenario, but wasn't meant to be. Two rather poor riders in the break anyway.
Good to beat Aker at least (and denying Hoem his second RR title), scandalous race by them

Heh, what a surprise to see Flens win the ITT. Certainly didn't expect that. The Lankan NC lived up to the hype. It would be great if the pack could actually fight out a couple of the NCs.

Cant we just roll the dice next year, my eyes bleed seeing the reports from NCs. Reporters are doing great job, but i feeel like it is somewhat pointless effort, when the dice roll decides it anyway.
Congrats to all the new champions though!

Good to see Project Africa winning, even though I had a small secret hope for Venter

Are the Janse van Rensburgs actually related at all, or did I miss something? Anyway congrats to all new champs and to Matt on his great break win count

11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Well. I at least always thought so.
Then I found this right now on Reinhardt`s blog:
Jacques Janse van Rensburg won both races, he isn’t my brother by the way.
So my report has 2 errors. |

I did like the mixed championships from last year, why wasn't that kept?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

There are 4 Mixed NC`s. For each terrain.
1 actually was posted already.
But while the AI wasn`t really better in those neither, it`s a bit more work for the reporters as well imo. |

Well, those were still small. I would suggest adding more countries to the mix so the peloton will have ~100 riders (or whatever the minimum for realistic behaviour is nowadays).

Problem is that there will be like 50 teams needed to get 100 riders.
Otherwise you would need to mix Nations into one team, which then results in different leadership and other problems. |

Great result by Hadi in Rwanda, good for my team's RwandAir sponsor!
Combining nations only complicates things for both startlist creation and reporting, and punishes teams who have multiple nationalities as if they are combined into the same team for a mixed race then they have less chance of a good result across the different countries.
So less races doesn't necesarily mean less work - and having individual NCs is not slowing the game down at all anyway.

Had small unreasonable hopes for Kip at the Dutch Road Race. This would've increased his value when selling him. |

Yeah, the idea would be to hav edifferent teams like P:A - Rwanda, P:A Uganda and P:A - Burundi for example. That way teams will still have seperate leaders. But I can see how much work this will create.

Nice. Finally a NC result I'm happy with. Kolahdouz (or Kolahdozhagh which his real name is) doing pretty well in several games for me atm. Great to see him wear the Iranian NC jersey also in the ManGame next year. Poorseyedi winning the TT makes this a perfect day for Siam Cement. Suck it Compal. |

I had very few riders so far on the road so far but I actually like that. Gives me another reason to look forward to the end of the NCs. Much better than being finished already after the first few races
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!
