Yes, you're the last one, ZABEL'D me
Great! I'll post the schedule later this evening and we can already start. If I can post the schedule later this evening, we could have first results on Wednesday!
Those who did not get in: don't worry. If the interest is high enough and this "season" works out well, I can definitely do a second one. This is a very low effort game, both for the players and for me. So no problems there |

Note that your set points are revealed each match. There is some confusion about this, for which I'm sorry. So you'll have your tactics made public every round. |

Wanted to play trekbmc and get some reverse reverse reverse reverse reverse psychology going. Thus game is actuall amazing now I think about tactics. Took me a good while to pick, like will he copy the first post, do the opposite, focus on the second because it doesn't take about that, want me to think he's doing something he's not, want me to think that he wants me to think that he's doing something he's not so he actually does the obvious, and so on.

This looks like a great game. I'm sure you could expand to 24 or 32 players if you wanted
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Thanks knockout.
Depending on how this goes, I might increase it to 32 players for a second run.
Only 6 match days with maximum of 3 days in between so should only last 3 weeks, this run.
It'll be good because it's around the forum and it gets some attention. If it's successful, then maybe we could get 32 people to play for a bigger season |

Still waiting for dubbeldekker, jaxika, Luxemburger and Vali. But no rush, deadline is still two days away! |

Group A
lakebeach | vs | dubbeldekker | 8 | | 0 | 1 | | 0 | 11 | | 0 | | | | thobe96 | vs | spilak23 | 2 | | 10 | 12 | | 0 | 6 | | 10 |
In Group A we had a first forfeit, with dubbeldekker failing to meet the deadline. The second fight was more exciting, with Spilak starting the match strongly. Thobe set most of his points on the middle set, but Spilak anticipated well by not wasting a single point there. The third set was decisive. Spilak takes two points.
Group B
marcovdw | vs | jaxika | 7 | | 0 | 6 | | 0 | 7 | | 0 | | | | jandal7 | vs | Croatia14 | 4 | | 1 | 12 | | 11 | 4 | | 8 |
Group B, too, started with a forfeit. Marcovdw takes his first three points easily. Jandal didn't want to fall behind but had to fight hard for it. With only four points he managed to score the first set. His twelve in set 2 was just enough to get the win in only two sets. A close battle that results in three points.
Group C
Luxemburger | vs | roturn | 7 | | 9 | 7 | | 10 | 6 | | 1 | | | | jihardy | vs | Vali | 0 | | 10 | 8 | | 8 | 12 | | 2 |
Roturn started this game strongly. With an aggressive approach, he took the two first sets and starts his campaign with three points. The second match in group C was a first draw. Both get a point and will have to chase the group's leader now.
Group D
Mresuperstar | vs | trekbmc | 13 | | 0 | 0 | | 10 | 7 | | 10 | | | | SportingNonsense | vs | weirdskyfan64 | 0 | | 8 | 10 | | 11 | 10 | | 1 |
Mresuperstar took an aggressive start, but trekbmc reacted wisely without wasting a point, offering Mre the set. Then he struck back with two 10s, leaving Mresuperstar unable to counter and take the win in three sets.
SportingNonsense used the same tactic trekbmc used, trying to reel in 2 points. Weirdskyfan took the first set without trouble but then also took the second one with a point to spare. A close battle, but instead of 2 points for SN, weirdskyfan takes the full three points, winning his match in two sets.
