38th by Bauer in Elite ITT is acceptable given that we're a CT team. Hopefully we can get hold of even better time trialists nest season, that can compete towards top 25 in the worlds.
Hat off for Pluchkin, that was a great performance and to win in that style is impressive, no one was even close. Congrats Avin!
And thank you for the great report dannyboy! |

Heh, Spilak 2nd, you just called that SotD. Well now we can "party gayly on Avin's butt" even though I'd wait for the RR as I have a strong feeling it won't solely be a ITT win for him.
Strange impact that hill made, I thought it would advantage the climbers but not be for them so much of an ace in the hole. Nice report Danny, thanks for that

wow, where did Zoidl pull that performance from? CT watch out you've got a guy that top 10'd the senior worlds ITT heading your way
To beat both Cancellara (pure TT specialist) and Schleck (top climber) is amazing, proves that Zoidl really does have a unique stat set and why I love this guy, hopefully I can now plan him right to make him a dominant force next season.

Given that a TT rider couldn't win on this course, I'm glad that it didn't just go to a pure climber, but rather a proper all-rounder. Great season for Pluchkin and congrats Avin.

Are the La Lavandier guys in inactive teams? They were in the Tour de l'Avenir, and would have been valuable assets for Lecuisinier in the U23 RR instead of riders from the FA.

Congrats Avin! Another terrific result for Pluchkin. I'm going to tip him for the double. 2 GT's, 2 WCs. Is there a rider who's actually achieved that before in the MG world?

They turned 23 between Avenir and the WC
Great win for Pluchkin, have to hope he doesn't win the RR now (sorry Avin) so that someone else wins something for once Thanks for the report Danny |

Great ride from Olivier, really. Congrats to our mate roturn!
2nd is always a bit unlucky in WCs, but it's still a nice achievement from what seemed to be a smart ride from Morton. Well, except of allowing such a big gap on the winner But you can't win them all and Morton looked strong, so I'm kinda pleased with our third medal here. At least we once again distanced that Festina Frenchie

Wow.
First I thought he attacked too early.
Then I thought, why do you chase. Let the Germans do the work with a trio in that group, while Olivier probably was isolated after the first climb.
Then I thought wow. Just wow. This is just excellent. I won two consecutive U23 Road Races now. And this time in a normal way while last year was a breakaway with Frison.
Thanks for the report! |

Huge attack by olivier and it paid of nicely, gratz Roturn!
Not the best decision by Morton and Leicusnier with all this waiting though!
Happy with 11th from Carapaz, another strong performance by him!

Great performance from Kudus to cling onto Lecuisiner on the final climb, although unfortunate he couldn't grab a podium in what will probably his only chance with next years race probably not in the mountains.
Congrats to roturn on the huge win for Oliver. A good report as well, thanks trek. |

Congrats roturn, what a huge win for Oliver! Kolar with decent 15th place, that is something around what was expected for me. Thanks for the report.

Lecuisinier tried this time, instead of his passive l'Avenir ride...
3rd is not good enough, but it's a medal. 4/4 medals so far. 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze. I guess that others will struggle to match that, unless they had 4 in the TTT or so
Congrats on the win Roturn. It's really nice to win the PCT and have the U23 World Champion. I hope this means that the team who won the PT will have the Elite World Champion

Good to see Lehtinen being best among those missing the cut even though it would have been great with a more visible effort
Great report and congrats to roturn.

Big congratulations, roturn! Really a brilliant win by Oliver, timing his attack to perfection and never seen again.
Also very happy to see both Galta and Hoelgaard up there in the decisive moments, and a 6th place from our captain is good. 16th from Hoelgaard is a pleasant bonus.
The winner once again proves that this course/AI is open for a minor surprise or two, as once again it's not a top favourite running away with the title. Certainly exciting thinking of the Elite race.
Thank you for the report, trekbmc! |
