So the USA entry... thought about sticking it to the numerous music snobs on the site and picking someone like Gomez/Grande/Swift/Perry and then a brainwave hit me. So the entry representing the United States of America is:



Honorable mention to Kristen Bell/Straight No Chasing with Text Me Merry Christmas, who i actually wrote up in this post before a final moment change of heart (blame Kendricks eyes for melting my heart, again)

Yeeeees! I really like Softengine, they are one of the few ESC bands who keep making good quality music after Eurovision and this is a good example of that. Fantastic Choice!

I've got the perfect song to enter for the Winter edition but unfortunately can't find a way of linking the band to a nation that hasn't been picked yet.

Unfortunately both USA where they are from and Norway where the lead singer has a family history from (tenuous link I know but only one I can find to another country) were both taken before I saw the new competition was open for entries.

Oh well, guess I'll take England as they are still free and choose a song later.
