Frank Schleck's last race as a very top level puncheur was 2013 Lombardia, which he won. His last season as a team leader was 2014, and he had another great year with various great performances and wins. And this year he is still fighting hard, despite having now had 3 stats decreases, and his Tour de France stage win is a big highlight of the year. He's taken some great 'last chances' already, anything else is just a bonus.
Will be interesting to see who does go for it from my team here. The Schlecks are together for a (til now) very rare occurence, and Gastauer is in great form too.

The waiting is the hardest part...
Having TVG and a solid cushion makes me feel like we got this. But, if we blow this it's going to be absolutely devasting. And it will take me a few days to regroup before I realize going to the PCT and dominating that circuit isn't too awful.

Yay Ponzi, that's a fitting end Also TVG getting Movistar points and a great report from Matt
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Nice report. Really pleased with Vanmarcke and his will.
Also Boom and Villella in top25 is awesome.
Feel sorry for SN. In especially after I jinxed it with Frank leadership.
Just like Gazelle in the PCT the last race decided the rankings in a stupid way. Koretzky and Sagan very strong.
Last but not least Ponzi. Perfect season for him. Best puncheur season in MG history I guess? |

What a performance from Ponzi. Along with Bewley and Pluchkin he really has been above the rest this year. Congrats rjc.
Also an amazing report from matt, thanks. |

Big congratulations to rjc on another amazing win from the greatest considering the hills this season.
But that sprint considering the overall PT standings...
Feel truly sorry for SN loosing it in such a way, but what a performance from Festina, saving everything for the sprint and putting no less than three riders right up there in the mix for the top spots. Congratulations, SotD!
Thinking of Boasson Hagen, it looked like he burnt his matches too early, but I'd rather have that instead of an anonymous race, so I can't be too disappointed, eventhough it's another monument goal failed by a big margin.
Last, but not least, thanks for a great report, matt17br! |

Well that was.... Interesting...
I'm unsure if this is more than 200 points above Vesuvio, but it could be I guess...
From those final 5 races, I thought 3 would be good, and 2 relatively bad. In the end those I thought would be bad turned out great, and the ones I thought would go well went horrible...
Thanks for another season everyone. If this really mean that we will win the ranking I will be absolutely thrilled. I have been trying to win the PT Division ever since I started the game, and to also have a season where I completed 5/5 goals (relatively easy ones though) is just amazing.

You're meant to play as the Control Team matt, not Festina.
At least Ponzi won.

Thanks Matt. Looks like Meiji beat us by something like 4 points in the end, which is a shame. Still it's been nice having a season in PT, now it's time for us to go back where we belong
Also, if I remember correctly SotD said he would disband his team and start from scratch if he won the PT (a while ago, admittedly) soooo... |

Wow... So who won PT?! Crazy stuff. I feel awfully bad for SN if he misses out on the title in this manner, but as I have said before it's about time SotD gets to top the table.
Either way, an incredible end to the PT season which has been progressing ina very nice tempo all the way. Certainly appreciated - kudos to everyone involved.
(Not much to say about Orange... Invisible, but OK.) |

Hey, you proved all wrong and stayed in PT.
So yet another chance for Dekker to win the Tour de France. Better you have some training money stored somewhere. |

What a thrilling way to end the season.
To whoever won the PT, congrats!
Consistent TVG keeps us in the PT after a made scramble in the final two months of the season. Time to go back and look at the all those PT previews of people doubting us...

There might be a lot of changes - But not next season. We want to see what all those talents can do. But the season after that we might switch focus. We have had a big french focus for quite a while now, and the greeks aren't exactly great now that Tzortzakis will soon be getting worse. Then only Vlatos is worth anything for a PT team, and even he won't be a top rider.
So you can probably start saving up a huge amount of cash for the 2017 season
