Didn't embarass ourselves, so good result! Actually it was a good result anyway for Nelson, hopefully he'll do alright in the CT

Ah, sprint seemed pretty random depending on positioning, and Impey wasn't in a great wheel going into the sprint. I'll take 7th.
Congrats roturn, a big step towards the title there! |

Bar was the last guy I expected to accomplish our goal here
Ciolek obviously hates some flat classics for some reason. Great that I spent a million to get his hill stat up a bit -.-
On the other hand, this points distribution means a bit easier renewals with Ciolek than if he won, so goal accomplished is all that matters.
Additionally, we further increased our lead on BPost and Kenya, so all is well.
Congrats to Aegon who probably secured the division title with this surprising win.

To repeat what I have just posted on Skype basically:
This came unexpected as I had bigger fear that Groenewegen won`t even sprint at all. What a result for him in a big classic. Who even needs a maxed sprinter at all. |

Mmm... 2 South Africans in the top 10 and neither is on my team. That'll have to change soon.

Another bad race for the team and repeatedly the only mention my team got was when Kip missed a split going up a speed bump.
I expect to be able to reduce my rider's wages by a half in the off season. |

Lmao.
Boonen and Ingels leading out two different trains with no riders from our team in there is just hilarious. Horrible, not understandable and stupid. But hilarious.
Congrats Roturn to the division title and cio for the goal!

Castaneda out the back again ... Based on Ciolek being on 300k I expect the Colombian 'fast man!' to be on 50k or very near next season.
Positives: Our best finisher was our stagiare ... in 80th place.
Pass me the bottle, Nutresa look likely to finish one place above us again. At least that won't happen next season. |

Feel like roturn must owe me something after that leadout for Groenewegen!
Decent effort by the Vans. Has often gone much worse from such a strong position.

Well. I`d say, Groenewegen owed me something as most expensive sprinter in PCT and no single stage win. He is now more successful than Vantomme in his expensive year.
Also my team clearly learned by the Britain Stage 8 disaster when trying an own train.
Now it`s 1:1 between him and Krieger. |

good thing we got in the break as we couldn't contest the sprint.
I wanted that to go all the way as then we could have scored some nice points through one of our loaned in riders meaning that it wouldn't have been a problem for renewals.
the best thing about that race though is that there's only 2 races until the end of the season and we can drop back down to CT, a level we can compete on.

Thanks for the report.
Puma scored enough here to make me very confident that we won't catch them now. I really wanted that podium :/

I'm sorry
I'll happily let you have it in exchange for a big discount on someone like Boeckmans or Keukeleire...

If that were an option I'd be tempted
Ah well, these things happen. Promotion was the main goal and I don't see any way that we can seriously fail at that.

Another somewhat disappointing result for us, good to see that Danny tried to get away, just not enough difficulty to the race to give him a gap.
