Verschoor's the kind of rider that seems to be able to come 6-10th regardless of the opposition. He might be able to win a couple of races if he didn't have such a long season (He started in San Luis in January)

Depends on whether they can sneak a Milan - San Remo wildcard again

Wilier
Chtioui breaks Mareczko's win streak, after Zhao got disqualified.

Wilier
Zanotti wins the stage from a breakaway. Mareczko keeps the leader's jersey.

Wilier
And Mareczko also wins stages 6,7 & 8.

Impressive number of wins. Only 21 years old.
Worth watching perhaps?

Very similar to Guardini (not just in type of the races he wins, but also the sprinting style). If he can build up a good engine, he has an incredible speed.

Also similar to Guardini in the sense both can't pass a climb.

Yes, because he's so muscular. He's heavier than Guardini even though he's a lot shorter.

Guardini had a very good last season in amateurs so it was thought he could be a good sprinter. Mareczko meanwhile has a lot of pressure on him in Italy, they think he's going to be a fantastic sprinter. Petacchi only did this season to teach him.

Basically what I meant with the kind of races he wins, stages in pan-flat Asian races. To be fair, Guardini is getting better though.
