Team Novo Nordisk - Achieving the Dream
Tamijo
A 4 min.+ solo Victory , that what I call a win Smile

Tamijo - An unexpected win but it was well worth it in the end Wink

Woohoo! A well-timed attack that must have caught the other teams out, congrats to the team Grin

Kiserlovski01
That's a great win for Joe and the team Grin

sutty68
OZrocker - Have to admit i thought he would be reeled back in but they never even launched a chase

Kiserlovski01 - Hopefully that win will give Dombrowski some confidence Smile

Tamijo
Good luck in North Carolina, might be a possibility for Rodriguez if he is in good shape.

sutty68
Tamijo - Most of these riders have a crap fitness level so i wouldn't hope for too much Frown

OZrocker
Slightly weaker team than in Donetsk, but they have a decent chance of a top 10 I think Wink

THE RACE

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-70KM_zps9cxebvxz.jpg

We have had a lively start here in Charlotte but as of yet no break has been able to get away, the latest to try is Teklehaimanot/Atlas Personal

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/3-021-PRESBYTERIAN%20HOSPITAL%20INVITATIONAL%20CRITERIUM/3-021-PIC%20001_zpszemon7c6.jpg

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-60KM_zps9zzbuacq.jpg

Another five try there look but currently they only have 15s

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/3-021-PRESBYTERIAN%20HOSPITAL%20INVITATIONAL%20CRITERIUM/3-021-PIC%20002_zpspdicxf8g.jpg

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-50KM_zpstckbnm44.jpg

The pack seems intent on not letting anyone succeed

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/3-021-PRESBYTERIAN%20HOSPITAL%20INVITATIONAL%20CRITERIUM/3-021-PIC%20003_zpsofwauzdr.jpg

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-40KM_zpsgh3wdv9w.jpg

Finally these eleven riders have gained over a minute, in this group are Wolfe and Van der Velde both Jelly Belly, Wubben/Rabobank Development, Medina/7up Racing, Anthony and Moir/Team Optum, Ottema and Schoonbroodt both Cyclingteam de Rijke, Castaneda/EPM-UNE, Magner/Hincapie Sportswear and Edgar/IG Sigma Sport

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-30KM_zpsnmwr8dtl.jpg

Once again it all comes to nothing

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-20KM_zpskurbz4v9.jpg

Edgar is trying again as the race comes down to the final twenty kilometres

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-10KM_zps0byiryz3.jpg

Its time for the pushing and barging to begin as the sprinters teams jostle for the best position

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/3-021-PRESBYTERIAN%20HOSPITAL%20INVITATIONAL%20CRITERIUM/3-021-PIC%20007_zps78duywfa.jpg

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-5KM_zpsg6pvcjyx.jpg

Zirbel/Team Optum tries to put pressure on the sprint trains by raising the pace yet further

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/3-021-PRESBYTERIAN%20HOSPITAL%20INVITATIONAL%20CRITERIUM/3-021-PIC%20008_zpsvebdz6sz.jpg

i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/epic2000/000-KM%20SIGNS/TO%20GO-1KM_zpsxghcf53u.jpg

Forster/UnitedHealthcare is in pole position as we head towards the line

Well with ten kilometres to go we were in with a chance of challenging for the win but we gout completely out-muscled and out-fought, i am not a very happy man

Good luck in New York State. Look like a hard bumby Ride.

Kiserlovski01
That hilly final should suit Dombrowski, let's hope he's got the legs Pfft

sutty68
Tamijo - It sure will be Smile

Kiserlovski01 - Dombrowski is riding well at the moment so you never know Wink

OZrocker
Bad luck in Charlotte, thought the team could have got into the top 20 or better. At least the US domestic season is only just kicking off, they will get better Wink

EDIT - Just saw that Rodriguez did make the top 20, not as bad as I first thought then Smile

OZrocker - Have to admit that we were totally outclassed at the Presbyterian Crit and things just have to get better Wink
