I've received a couple of PMs asking about some of our riders, so I'd like to post an updated transfer list
TVM Cycling Team will almost certainly keep the following Dutch riders:
Theo Bos
Jasper Bovenhuis
Robert Gesink
Johnny Hoogerland
Bert-Jan Lindeman
Ramon Sinkeldam
Jos Van Emden
Brent Bookwalter, Chad Haga and Christopher Putt will only be available if another transfer can be arranged for cheaper riders who are also from the USA.
Stef Clement, Ramon Sinkeldam, Boy Van Poppel and Pieter Weening are unlikely to leave, but might go if we get a fantastic offer.
Raymond Kreder, Cadel Evans and Nick Van Der Lijke will be available for transfer, since we think they might now be surplus to our needs.
Jeroen Meijers and Koen Bekker will definitely be available too, but it's unlikely that anyone will pay enough for them to clear our debt.

If anybody is looking for a climber with 75 or 74 Mountain, we're willing to let at least one go.
EDIT: I'm looking for a sprinter with 76 SP. We're open for swaps especially.

With 2 transfers pending the 12 hour confimation deadline (don't bother outbidding, they were made in agreements that will be honoured), Filliers-Mora is pretty much done with transfers.
In the unlikely even you deperately need budget, we'll be willing to listen to offers that will trade your good riders for our bad riders of course
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I imagine you approached sutty with that Ligthart offer?
Considering sutty has a squad of like 7 better 3rd tier sprinters that transfer really makes no sense.
It does raise the question, again, why krisa was left out of the WT and/or OZrocker for that matter?

So Shonak now has a cobbler, eh?! Big wage there, hope the risk pays off, kind of! But it is a big risk with Stybar's lowish stamina. Nice to see his team moving onto the dirt!
We missed out on Vandewalle (just), you crafty Bikex! and Kiryienka (Episode throwing around the money this transfer period!). Still two needed. |

After missing out on Barguil, for me it was important to broaden the horizon. Stybar was a good-ish choice. I regret (like everybody else?) not bidding on him for a lower wage in the first round but well, it's a gamble I'm willing to take. Only concern is that all my 3 star riders are well close to AoD but let Future Shonak worry 'bout that.

Clarification time!
Both Selwink and The Rider have bid 70 for Cadel Evans. Before I posted the trade, I had a PM agreement with The Rider that this would be a deal. Therefore I intend to accept his offer of 70, unless Selwink (or anyone else) is willing to bid 120 or more.

Just want to make it public that Lobato could be available for the right rider swap deal. Preferably a cobbler or puncher on similar level. Wage max 390
Lobaot has 76 spr, 75 Scc, 69 Hi, 73 flat. Wage 370

Up for sale is also hilly classics specialist Enrico Gasparatto 75,6. His downsides are age & wage (34, 600), but he has his upsides as well. Firstly he can score in any hilly race with his great stats for hilly classics 76 hill, 75 stamina, 75 acceleration, from far out 74 fighting as well as from a bunch sprint 69 sprinting.
Especially weaker WT teams & any CT team fighting for/batteling against relegation would fit Enrico.
I want to let him go as I just decided to do kind of a deeper build up (free agency didn´t went too well). I would involve one of my U23-riders in a deal (Tokoev, Vilhelmsen) to help in terms of wage issues... |

Well nice try Croat, trying to get rid of Gaspa. Of course he doesn't fit the description of Age < 28 though and besides no way can I afford his ridiculous wage.
I had offered JoeArmstrong a palatable way out by the way - but as brewers pointed out carrier pigeon may as well been used.

Ouch, I didn´t expect this attack in the public thread, but now it seems like I have to explain myself.
After some talks Smowz offered me the following trade:
Gasparotto & Kumer & 50 <--> Gatto & Cimolai
I agreed to that, but then he decided to cancel the trade due to a "better offer for Cimolai". We agreed about trading Gatto, what was in favour of his, and yesterday in the evening I´ve seen that there was still no offer for Cimolai. So I decided to make the latest offer, which would have caused exactly the trade we agreed to two days ago.
By the way he could´ve afforded this trade, there was only the marginal budget change due to his Colombo trade...
Now I´m pretty sad about how and why the trade not happenend, maybe you can understand why.
Spoiler Maybe I´m too credoulos in terms of the ICL participants, as another "agreed deal" turned out to be cancelled. Won´t talk about who, as he has acted fair in the public thread. Sadly this doesn´t seem to work via PM in this case... |

@ Croat: Not an attack at all. I wanted to simply point out after you put your new gaspa deal in the transfer thread that I was not going to accept that. Certainly after the barbed Gaspa transfer offer a few posts up which essentially describes Saeco as a 'weaker' PT team!
As we have since discussed via pm I am no longer interested in gaspa, yet you still put it in the transfer thread. After we had renegotiated a deal involving Kumar, it was quite amicable.
I did make an initial proposal as you described. But then you went and rather spoiled it by trying to renegotiate a better deal for yourself and I then lost interest in Gaspa. You are quite welcome to attempt to renegotiate by the way, but there is a risk that the original deal might be lost as was the case here.
Incidentally as far as I am concerned pms flush out an initial deal to go up in the public transfer thread. Then people have chances to produce higher and better offers until a confirmation.
I had got at least something from Joearmstrong along the lines of Cimolai and Rosa + cash for Alaphillipe at the same time as we were renegotiating. Hence why I lost interest in Gaspa.

Well, I think it was a mistake to take over Gasparotto to begin with. His wage is just insane for such a mediocre rider.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

You might be right, but he could still score some good points for me...And he is better than any rider available in the Free Agency at the moment.
The main reason I changed my mind about him is that he shouldn't stand in the way of Bazhkou, who I want do develop... |

Transfers over for another season now. Have to be pleased with how all that turned out! Looking forward to seeing plenty of the British Champ.
--
If Smowz can't make that deal with 'that' team, then I guess they lose one of their riders (done through a random generator? (that seems the fairest way)). Well which ever rider leaves I suggest lumping him into Telecom Namibia or another non-controlled team which may happen to spring up. |

@matt (from Transfer Thread) :
Yeah, the nationality, AVG and wage are missing. But the +10 was written right under Sarmiento, so that's what I'm giving on top.
@Jakstar: it's no problem, you didn't quite fit the regular scheme with your post. I'll just add it in when confirming.

It's supposed to be a punishment but I hardly see any punishment when a random rider like Vermeersch, Bell or Galta leaves.
Especially because it's not down to some math mistake but due to simply not acting. I offered him deals for at least three different riders and i take from the comments in this thread that others did as well and his situation is all down to simply not accepting anything.
Due that I think it has to be one of the three strongest riders (EBH, Alaphilippe , Fuglsang) who should be taken away if he does not accept one of the still open offers.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Put my post in a spoiler too, but doesn't really need it.
Spoiler Think it was already mentioned earlier, but I found everyone to be really easy to deal with. My team has been much more active in this transfer period than last season and all the managers I've talked to (10 or so) have been great. Might have just been lucky there, but it's not a wide-spread problem by any means.

knockout - I agree with that!
Silvio - I am not sure that transfer can go through, as you missed the deadline by some 12 hours: the deadline for putting up new guys. |
