After realizing that the squad's focus was a tad unbalanced last season, Ecopetrol is selling some of it's climbing talent. Apart from Quintana, Betancur and Uran, who are irreplaceable for the team, every climber can go for the right price.
At the moment Ecopetrol is considering to sell two well known riders in particular:
Name | FL | MO | HIL | TT | PRL | COB | SP | ACC | DH | FTR | STA | RES | REC | Age | Pot | Esteban Chaves | 67 | 75 | 74 | 67 | 67 | 57 | 61 | 73 | 68 | 73 | 69 | 66 | 69 | 26 | 6 | Julian Arredondo | 71 | 74 | 72 | 67 | 66 | 61 | 65 | 72 | 69 | 68 | 69 | 67 | 70 | 28 | 5 |
On the other side Ecopetrol is looking to sign decent non-climbers or promising talents from latin america.

Building a team for your top sprinter or want a good rouleur/sprinter? Then look no further than:
| Last Name | First Name | Nationality | AVG | FL | MO | HIL | TT | PRL | COB | SP | ACC | DH | FTR | STA | RES | REC | Wage | | Boeckmans | Kris | BEL | 76.3 | 76 | 64 | 69 | 62 | 68 | 66 | 76 | 77 | 74 | 66 | 69 | 68 | 75 | 370 |
Starting price: 30 (Interested in swaps) |

You can PM your interest for any riders already but it's forbidden to make any deals just yet. Those will be done during the transfers between teams period.

How does it work excatly:
i think there must be some kind of transfer fee + the riders wages. Or is it all about the wages, and the sell'er gets basicly nothing from the transfer ?
Can anyone show an exampel ?

So it will end up in a "live" action, and you pay a transfer + the wages RIGHT ?

Exactly, just that you're not forced to pay a transfer fee, even though that will happen most of the times

Well, here at LA-Antarte basically everyone is available for transfer (although few are likely to end up leaving) except Rui Costa and a couple of my other Portuguese riders who will be staying.
Interested particularly in rider swaps.

I wonder why transfers between teams is after getting free agents, would be logical to me that it was before, or simultanius. ?

It's been this way for past seasons, don't change a working system

Well why? It especially makes more sense for new teams: they would be basically ruled out of the first transfer session if it was before the free agents one: I mean, they still could buy riders but they wouldn't be, in first place, able to make swaps. In this way, you build your team core in the first FA window, possibly buy a few riders you're interested in that are in other already existing teams, and then finish off your team in the next sessions

Yes - i guess is just because i dont know the system, resulting in a situation where i have allready got many rider, and not much budget left, for the transfers. I guess its just difficult to be new to all this, when you dont realy know what is comming next. I will have a much easier time next season.

Well in this kind of situation I would always suggest to try to sell some of the riders you don't need, so that you can invest that money in other riders you do need. You may struggle to sell them but why not trying? There might always be a team that is interested in a rider that you regret buying!

@Tamijo: It's like matt said: It's better if everyone already had the chance to sign riders, before transfers between teams start. Plus, I can't run both rounds at the same time, because I assume a lot of people would be confused with their budget then, as it can't really be planned, when there are different rounds going on at the same time.
For Italo - Ventilair:
I'd like to sell Van Avermaet. Offers please as PM.
I got already some questions about Vanmarcke. He isn't unsellable, but I need a very good offer to agree on a deal.
In General: Every of my riders could be included in a deal, but I doubt I'll get a good enough offer to sell Nibali e.g.

Bunzl Centrica would like to make it official that the majority of our riders are now available for the right price including star sprinter Mark Cavendish. The primary goal is to firstly clear our debt but rider swaps for cheaper riders from our target countries will be considered.
For new CT teams, riders like Sam Spokes, Ian Bibby, Mark Christian or some of our younger talents would make superb domestiques or potentially better.
We will listen to any offers though.

Celesio Pro Cycling is willing to offers for the new BIG Australian sprinter Caleb Ewan. While we might accept a money offer, our preference goes to DT eligble talents. |
