Just a quick question: is it really necessary to uninstall PCM? As I don't want to make things go bad, everything runs smoothly at the moment.

What does it mean that I have to reinstall PCM 2012 without patch?
What I need to install first: the database or the 1.4.0.0 patch? Thanks |

I think that you shouldn't install the 1.4 patch at all.

Why? All the DBs recommend to install it because it fix some bugs |

Problem, the new .cdb file doesn't appear in MyDocuments folder and neither in ProgramFiles x86 (where I installed the game). I've followed all the steps to install it correctly, what can I do?
I tried to reinstall but doesn't appear... |

Is your documents folder placed in C:\Users\You\Documents?

Reinstalling, sometimes installers give these kinds of problems and you can't do anything about it

Ok, I will try again.
But when the installation finishes it says: ''This program may not be installed correctly'', and I have to choose between two options:
1-This program have been installed correctly
2-Reinstall it with the recommended configuration
What's this? Thanks for helping

Have you tried the OfficalRelease.cdb? Previous pages told me it's the cdb you need to use, and there's no separate cdb for this DB alongside the OfficialRelease.

That .cdb is the normal one, with wrong names, even when I install the DB |

Ok, maybe the database have been installed correctly, but then I install the 1.4.0.0 patch and probably it overwrites the StanosDB .cdb file. I'll try |

That should indeed be the problem. New patches sometimes (IIRC definitely in this case) overwrite the OfficalRelease.
