Hi guys, I got a few questions about the Scout/Youth development part:
You scout a rider, you get his potential (1 to 8)
You close monitor a rider, you get his development potential (bad, good, ...)
Just wanna double check:
1. I would guess that Development potential is how fast the rider's stats are increasing?
2. Potential... I'm confused:
a) is it how good the rider will become?
b) Or is it like in PCM14 how much growth potential he has?
---> The difference would be if I recruit a rider with potential 5-8 and low stats (<60): in the a) situation, then my rider will become good regardless, in the b), then he wouldn't become necessary good (like in PCM14, a guy with 60 and 4 stars would have a good increase margin but the stat will never be above 68.
3. Close Monitoring: can you only monitor 1 rider per scout or have I missed something?
4. Can you improve your chances to have good riders in your development team, or is it totally random?
I think that's it for now |

Potential is their limit and speed they are growin. with potential 8 and a player 18 year old. he already could have 85 mountain at 21.
Close monitoring: 1 each scout
just close the career and make a development team again if you want a better one.
(first look at the transferlist for uncontrracted cyclists) |

Is there any way we can know when a rider reaches his maximum stat without looking in the db? Because when you don't know, you keep training him and it's a waste of time... I guess when you see the stat not increasing anymore, you know but because sometimes it takes a long time to increase, you would have to wait maybe 6 months before you are sure he is maxed out... plus write down each rider's stat to know if he improves...
How do you guys figure it out?
Another question: I've noticed that riders improve more when they don't race for a while (so more time training I guess) that would make sense. Is it how it works or is it just me?
Thanks |

If you are talking about career, each rider has got some stars next to each stat. A star roughly is worth 1.5/2 points. If there are 0, he could progress max 1 point or even 0 for instance, of there are 6 he could get better by 10+ points though

Are you talking about pcm 2015? I dont think the stars are there anymore, unless I have missed something? |

With close monitoring I only see stars there. Is that the ones you're talking about ? (because if I remember correctly there's a max of 5 not 6). IMO these stars refers to the max potential of the rider.
