According to CQ's tranfer overview Goss, like Ciolek, will be leaving the team.
Daniel Diaz (Tour de San Luis 'winner' to Marseille 13 - KTM (French continental team which will probably turn PCT next year).
Goss is 100% leaving but Ciolek is a little bit of a mystery.
Marseille signing Diaz is hilarious, he only does well in one race then falls of the face of the earth for the rest of the season

Wonder if guys like Bos, Farrar, Ciolek, Goss or EBH
will be happy with getting Cave put in front of their noses.
Some of 'em went to MTN to be the first sprinter
and now it's back to 2nd row for them again.
And might Kittel now move to Etixx-QS?
Kittel has a running contract and I doubt that Giant will let him leave. Also Etixx will focus on Gaviria now.
It's might be a rumour that has legs, when I first heard it a couple of days ago it seemed like a fantasy but it is a persistent rumour. I'd be surprised if he goes as Etixx have a reduced budget for the next 2 seasons and didn't think they'd buy out another riders contract, if he is unhappy at Giant they might not want to keep him seeing as they have some quality riders to pin there hopes on.
Reading some Dutch and Belgian press on this say it would be a 2 year deal and apparently Giant and Etixx are talking about it

Lefevre constantly calls around to newspapers saying he is in deep negotiations with top riders while in reality they've never even talked.

I think Cavendish was one of the best payed riders, so it only makes sense they suddenly have a shitload of money. Remember, they signed the Cav that wore the WC jersey, not the Cav that struggled to get 1 TDF stage win.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Nothing will ever be as good as getting Alpecin sponsoring Kittel's team. Match made in heaven
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Arms race at MTN-whatever?
More rumors about Kittel signing with Etixx-QS according to "Het Nieusblad".
IMHO Nibs is in a predicament.
Astana ain't the most popular team around but they got the funds.
I don't think that Lampre can compete with Astanas line up and funding. |

I still consider Kittel to by far be the fastest pure sprinter around, if he can get his shit right, this is a superb swap by Quickstep-Lidl-Etixx-LIDL.
Nibali to Lampre would be super fun, really hoping for that one. Regardless tho, Nibali should to the Giro and Aru the Tour, so its not really gonna change anything, but it would be a nice transfer just for the sake of it. You know, its always interesting, when the big stars are changing team.
Edit: If he indeed somehow gets to Lampre, it would be super fun to watch Nibali go on a crusade against Aru and show him where the goods is at, just with the only goal of crushing Aru and cementing himself as the best Italian rider. But thats probably not going to happen. |
