Is there any way to allow the 'Follow rider' function throughout the whole race?

I get pretty annoyed at my riders losing there positions up mountains and have lost multiple races because of it. Wandering if there is a way or editing the game to allow this function to be through the whole race. Any suggestions or ideas?

I can't think of a way to edit a .cdb that would make it work. You'd need to get into the deeper game code to make a change like that.
But i will say that a "Shadow Rider" action, where you can hav your rider stay behind/near a rival would be a great addition to the game. It's something we see an awful lot in cycling and there is no good way to replicate it with the current game.
Cyanide, please do this before a mid-stage save

I there any way to get into the game coding? Is there a program like the database editors or is it just something we all have to suffer with? |

I think, as long as Cyanide doesn't has it in their game, we all have to suffer on this. I can't program stuff, but just going in the program code to change it is pretty much impossible, I guess.

Such an important function not to include in the game as an option and should be high on Cyanide's list |

Is it possible to start a petition of sort to get them to include this in PCM 16? I'd be up for spending time on it if so. |

There are some threads already like 'wishlist' and the Cyanide team do look at this forum but an organized petition for some really key changes should be made. |

A Poll with some ideas and give votes would be fine. And members here should more often read trough the full wishlist and give some rating on the posts to give just a little knowledge for Cyanide, what would be a nice to have.
EDIT: I knew I read this somewhere before. icewarrior wrote it in the Wishlist. It's idea no. 5

Even though FreireCyanide is active here on the forum, I still think that pcmdaily has very little priority to Cya.

Talking of improvements I can't believe that the TTT still doesn't work properly in game. |

IMO TTTs are now perfectly playable. The big problems they had with it since pcm 11 are mostly disappeared. There are others aspects of the ai ejo need to be looked at tho.

Really as I've been skipping them, the only one I did on PCM 15 saw be lose half my riders to running out of energy, maybe I need to look at the tips section again for that. |
