I really love how Jens turned out after winning his Belgian National Title last year. It really was the start of his career for me and he still surprises me. Strong rider, good sprinter but now on the Citadel, wouldn't have thought him possible to win there against the likes of Bakelants etc.
Good victory, very decent rider.
I like how Lotto-Soudal announced that they would make the race hard early on and it actually worked out for them. De Bie attacked, Vervaeke attacked and at the end they still had Debusschere and Vanendert. Of course, the extreme weather conditions played into their hands. |

Rebellin Nice. He can pull off another TRe-bellin. That would be dope!

Rebellin is like the way cooler version of Horner.

At least I can actually watch Rebellin on a bike and his technique doesn't make me want to vomit, can't say the same about Horner

100e edition of Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen ended with a sprint of 8 attackers/leaders. Finish photo of Groenewegen and Debusschere.
The Belgian Debusschere was the fastest one and adds another victory to his palmares. Nicely done |

Debusschere DSQ for his sprint.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Irregular sprinting. Caused Groenewegen to crash according to the jury.
Video
Edit: It's hard to see, but Debusschere is slowly moving towards the barriers during the sprint.

Hmm, a bit torn here, I think Groenewegen went for a gap that wasn't there in the first place.

Not sure i agree with that DSQ. I don't think Debusschere moved enough to the right, that he deserve to have the win taken away. Like Ollfardh said, i also think Groenewegen perhaps went for a gap that wasn't there.
EDIT: Even if there were a gap, the finish line was almost up when it happend. Groenewegen couldn't possible have won even if the gap had been there.
Kinda think this was a bad call by the jury. |

Strange. Sporza live updates said it was a finish photo. Looking at those images, that could've never happened. Who the hell was reporting this race? Just inventing stuff...
Also, a hard DQ. Feel bad for Jens. Also for Dylan of course! |

I can't say I feel bad for Debusschere, especially after his tweet of yesterday.
I think that's quite a gap, and it ended like this.
Seems quite obvious to me.

Watch the video, Selwink. It's not realy Debusschere's fault if you see it. |

Sporza only showed the final part of the sprint. As you can see in Groenewegen's pic the space was much larger before the video started, and then Debusschere moved further to the right, eventually causing the crash.

Idiot. Really only thing I can say, whether or not I agree with the jury. (Which I actually do)

Was there a gap at the start of the sprint, yes. Was there a gap at the end of the sprint, no. So by that you can conclude Jens deviated from his line, sort of. I can totally understand the decision of the comissaires given that there was actually a crash. Dylan went for a gap that unfortunately closed up as he got there, you can't expect him (or anyone) to just go "Whelp i guess i'll take 5th". But we've all seen DSQ's for less and we've seen no punishment for worse actions.
Only a small race so what does it matter
