Why ? He won last year's Tour, this year he has great second half of the race. I do not like him, because he only prepare for one race in entire season, but he can compete.
No he's not, he's won 3 GT's already and is fully capable of winning another couple as well. he's the perfect 82 mtn rider and you know he's one of the best GT riders of this generation.
Maybe bit high for Ewan and DVP, thoughts? My thoughts in Tafiolmo's post don't make sense as I am doing theses for start of the season as no 2016 db has arrived to discuss yet and we can only guess.

Well the victories by Ewan and Gaviria (Vuelta and TOB) were pretty impressive and clean victories over some of the best sprinters, so that's kind of important, as Paul said their backup stats are not great so all they're going to do at this stage is win odd stages in big races.

wow if you're giving Ewan 74 hill that's way too high
Nobody has suggested a hill stat for him or can't. Sagan and Matthews have 76 and 77 hill and Degenkolb 73 hill. So you think 72-73 better than this, as any less than this rules him out of uphill sprint wins.

Oh ok we're on two different pages. I'm rating them for ep and youre rating for now. I can live with close to that, would adjust some things (Ewan hill 72/73, but he has potential) but thats for me.

I made a comparison between Nibbles and Froome, not Nibbles and Contador. And Contador would have beaten Nibbles that year in mountains. But Nibbles would have been on par with Froome on the mountains
In 2015 he was in crap form in Le Tour still won the La Touissouire stage after a superb solo ride.
Nibali was not on his peak time in 2009-2010-2011-2012.Plus he only lost 23 seconds to Wiggins and 27 seconds to Froome on the mountains in 2012 TdF.

As I said,Horner 2013 Angliru was faster than Contador 2008 Angliru.
In 2014 Dauphine he was preparing for Le Tour and was using the Schleck approach of only being prepared for 1 race and in 2015 he was way off form there. He was even behind Serge Pauwels,Eduardo Sepulveda etc.
