Nice effort from Roux, but really Sisira or Vuillermoz should have been in that break from the start. Have to hope we can just keep plugging away and hopefully get something from this race. |

Damn. Sicard continues to be super aggressive, but gets nothing and is then dropped on the following stage. Quite worried that he's spending his energy wrong.
Also weird to see the rest of the team attack as much as it does. Lebas gets 2nd, but shouldn't he be supporting Sicard? |

Well, it's good to see my team listened. Nice 6th for Sisira, possibly the best achievable in such a strong break - though I maintain he could have won that if he had the stats I originally suggested. Just saying  |

Wow what a bonus to actually take a bit of time over some rivals on a hilly stage. A pity that Taaramae got back - but could not really expect to gain time on him on such a stage.
Chamorra once again in break great riding from him and indeed the whole climbing team really.

If Morton is just in that "no early attacks" zone, this will become an embarassing race for Oz

Disappointing to see Martin loose valuable time and drop in the GC on a hilly stage. Those were his golden opportunities to take time.
Pluchkin alert to all the dangerous moves, he's looking rock solid.
Good to see Nesset active again, but it looks like we'll need to try to get in the moves early on the stages if it's going to lead to something, as his many attempts are short-lived. |

If Scarponi had managed to beat Siutsov in that Giro stage he'd have won a GT stage in each GT this year, but as it is, he's only managed a win at the Vuelta, Tour and that 2nd place in the Giro stage. Plus top 30 GC positions I suspect in all. He is my favourite rider in the man game quite possibly. Such a consistent over performer in terms of points, perfectly suited for breakaways. I would love for him to win the KoMs here. That'd be amazing and make up for my lack of faith in Cattaneo!

Seeing that Monsalve was seen as a favorite I kinda hoped he would do better, but went pretty much like I thought. He's still just 1 min behind top 10 at least, but I doubt he will take any time on Henao in the mountains

This will be a great points jersey battle between two of the best riders in 2015 MG season. I hope Aleksandr can pull it off, with TT and several hard stages left, it will heavily depend on the breakaways i suppose.
Great job from Pluchkin again, to be the best GC rider in the hilly stage, hard hilly stage though...

Very interesting Tour to follow although the race seems to be fairly decided and I wish there'd be closer competition.
Seems like this is the MG year of great winners: Bewley beasting three monuments, Ponzi making the perfect Ardennes weekend and Pluchkin attempting Vuelta-Tour double. This is the time to become a MG legend

And Schleck the first to win all 3 GTs  Cunego, Pluchkin, Phinney and Swift now have stage wins in all 3 GTs too. I'm not sure how many can claim to that.
