Sounds interesting. May give it a test this week, even though I can't promise it
Guess a better presentation would lead to some more interest. The heavy workload for a GT definitely deserves some attention

Yeah for sure, but I don't have time for that at the moment. I did the stages for myself anyway, just wanted to share them because I used some of the races uploaded here and wanted to contribute as well. |

I'm gonna test it too, do you mind telling us which stages you used from the forum? |

I have noticed there is no original stage for Cholet - Pays de la Loire so I created one.
Cholet - Pays De Loire 2015
Cholet - Cholet, 210.00 km - Download
I used the 2015 route although sometimes I had to guess the correct road as the map I used wasn't that clear. Anyway it's quite a nice race with lots of short hills and a flat finale, important in the french calendar.

If you click the link to get to the Stage DB page for each stage, and download it from there, it is not corrupted.

Tour of Bhutan
After making the Tour of Japan 2015 (can be found in the stage database) I went on to create one fantasy race, namely a stage race through Bhutan. It's quite unrealistic of course, but within the constraints I tried to make it as realistic as possible. The first three stages, all start and end in the capital, Thimphu. There is one ITT, one hilly circuit race and one stage featuring the highest pass in Bhutan (Chelela at the altitude of 3800m). The next three stages then follow the only road crossing Bhutan from west to east, stopping in Trongsa, Lingmethang and finally finishing near Yonphula Airport.
You can download all stages (without zcts files) here, or individual stages in the stage db. If you want to create a new race for it, keep in mind that roads in Bhutan are generally quite narrow, so I would suggest keeping the number of possible participating cyclists below 100 (15 teams with 6 cyclists each seems reasonable). I also uploaded the zcts files (link here) I based this on, the two of them cover most of Bhutan.

You can find it in the Stage Database. Don't use the green links to download it though, I think they are still broken. Click on the stage name and then select Download from there, that should work. |

Now you are really start to produce races an mass, I do hope you do take care of everything inside the race not just cranking them out. I am happy though and will see soon enough how they span out.
I have faith ;-) but I knows that it takes very long time to produce a real beauty.
Omloop, Laggy and Somme in so short time is hopefully great works.

And you surely did. GP Somme is a blast, with lots of nice details. Not any auto-villages what I could see and those small villages very nice created. The old GP Somme creations could be put to bed ;-)
You did spend some time on these races after all, so IMHO they are top notch with GP Somme as the jewel.
Hope to see more on same standard as Somme in the future. Lots of 1-day races that hasn't been made or so old it's a pain to race them.
Thanks also for adding zcts files which makes them last over the years in new version I think (hope)

Thanks for trying them out and some feedback. I really didn't spend much time on these new ones apart from Somme and Asturias. For many I used already existing zcts files and just altered them slightly. I am now finishing off my last stage designing project for some time, that is the lower Rhône valley races. On these I spent quite some time as well. First is done already, the 2016 route of Classic Sud Ardèche. Download is linked in the opening post like for the other races.

Another race in the same region is the La Drôme Classic. I made all three different versions that have been planned so far (2013 race was cancelled due to snow irl and the routes of 2015 and 2016 races are identical). Download link is in the first post. Also I posted the common zcts file for all of these as Lower Rhône Valley. I plan on expanding it in the future when I'll have time.

Then this will be something to enjoy then. The Somme was really very good, and with no auto-village as always highten quality.
Whenever auto-villages are used in hilly terrain one get really ugly walls and even in flat terrain very often strange big open areas are created, which is not nice in smaller villages. It doesn't give you the feeling of having the race in those classic old towns and villages.
Thanks and big credit to you togo95.

A new race with updated route and graphics - Le Samyn
I made two of the last variants, i.e. 2015 and 2016 versions of the race. They are almost the same, apart from an extra 500 meters long cobbled sector on the 2016 circuit.

Flèche du Sud 2015
The second division version of the Tour of Luxembourg. This edition from 2015 saw 1 short hilly circuit stage at the beginning and 4 longer flat/hilly stages. Each of those could end up being won by a sprint of a bunch reduced to various sizes or an attack.
Big credit goes to grebiere, who created this amazing ZCTS file of Luxembourg and thus done most of the work on these stages actually.
