Probably because he is the most stable of the GC's, i can't remember him having a bad day in his life on mountain stages. At least not during the last week of a GT.
New York Knicks - Bardiani CFS - AG2R - Millwall FC - Le Havre AC

The reason why I asked is because on the last DB he was 83 |

Nibali 81 mountain. Contador is and has always been a better climber than Nibali. Remember Contador was the best last year and won the Giro this year.
Landa 80 mountain. He has only shown something in one race, will be exciting to see him in the Vuelta.
Froome 77 acc and 79 hill.
Cavendish 82 acc.

I've played an awful lot of Vorarlberg since release, and as such, I feel the need to offer some suggestions:
Victor de la Parte: 72MO > 74
Won GC + two stages in Tour of Austria this year, including the Kitzbühler Horn.
Nicolas Winter: 59HIL > 63/64
Had some top 20's in smaller races with hills in 2014.
Patrick Jäger: 56MO > lower, 58RES > higher
Cannot cope with Austrian mountains, but can end up high in the peloton on flat 1.1 races.
Akinori Yamamura: lower secondaries, higher MO
PCS has him listed as DNF'ing 5 out of 6 races in the past two seasons. His previous employer has him listed a climber.

I think Primoz Roglic need mountain upgrade. Now he has 72. He won Tour de Slovenia ahead of Nieve (77MO), Ulissi (74MO), Pellizotti(75MO).
He was 2nd in Crotatia,1st in Azerbaïdjan, 4th in China.

I think 76 mtn for Dan martin is fair. Maybe 75. Also his hill is way too high. 78 or so should work.

No Froome is the world's best. Quintana is the best to REC, but Froome is better than Quintana to everything else and therefore Quintana never has beaten Froome in a stage race. |

Are you kidding me now ? You want Dan Martin to be lowered by 2 in mountain and by 3 in hill that would be stupid |

@Froome fans...(if any )
They are equally good. Froome is always a beast in 2nd week cuz he aims for peak shape then. Quintana peaks for 3rd week. Spoken on PCM language. Froome in second week 100 fitness and starts decreasing by the end of the week towards 92-93 and until the end of the race towards 86-87, whereas Quintana(somewhat due to REC) is Quite the opposite. Looking only at times in the mountains. Quintana didn't loose to Froome in 2015 Tour and only lost 30-40 seconds on Froome in 2013, mainly due to BADLY PLACED attacks. They're fine on the same level. |

He's done shit all this season. All he does is crash. The stats he has are ludicrous.

You've got bad reasoning it's like if I was saying marcel kittel doesn't deserve 83 sprint and 83 acc because he hasn't done shit this year to keep it. |

It has nothing to do with peak shape it's just that froome and Quintana are different riders, Quintana is a typical 3rd week rider and froome is not but limit the losses during the third week while he has done a lot of damage during the 2nd week. They all have their own riding styles. Quite honestly froome is more a complete rider than Quintana,
how are they equally good ? froome can climb, sprint for a climber, he's good in timetrial and showed that he can hold is own during tour de france coobles, it's not the case of Quintana who is only known for climbing skills. |
