Tinkoff - Saxo that dominant in the sprint today that Matti Breschel was able to gift the stage victory to team mate Michael Morkov. Christopher Juul-Jensen safely crosses the line to take out the overall race victory as well.

Matti Breschel should be signed by Orica, as a fab teammate.
That was truly nice, giving away a sprint that way.
Mattis ever smiling teammate Juul-Jensen did sign for Orica, didn't he.
That's a big difference from the strict maniac rule of Tinkoff.

Yeah, Juul-Jensen signed with Orica - GreenEDEGE.
Meanwhile, under 17 kilometres remaining in the final decisive stage of the Vuelta a Burgos. You can catch the action live, albeit in Spanish, over here.

We did end up having a some gaps yesterday in Colombia. Not much happened on the slopes of the mythical Alto de la Línea, predictably as it is ridiculously far away from the finish, but it was a late breakaway from Alejandro Serna that enabled him to win the stage. Meanwhile, behind, Mauricio Ortega attacked on the last little rise to the finish to gain enough time which saw him wipe out the deficit he had from the TTT to Sevilla's EPM team to become the latest yellow jersey wearer. Ortega is an experienced and very strong climber, having finished 4th last year and 3rd in 2013, so is definitely a big threat to Sevilla, and indeed his Orgullo Antiqueño team are doing exceptionally well so far, with Ortega in the lead overall, and Chalapud in 3rd with Alexis Camacho (last year's 3rd) in 4th, with Sevilla the only rider to be separating them from a 1-2-3 at this point.
Further back, Óscar Soliz appeared to be recovering pretty well from the stomach bug that saw him lose time on stage 4, finishing 12 seconds behind the remains of the 10-strong group of favourites, and José Rujano was a bit further behind but not completely out of contention yet.
A solo win for Serna as the battle in the mountains begins to shape up nicely.
Today we have a medium-mountain stage with a cat.2 climb very near the finish, and then it's a flat 23km time-trial before the rest day on Monday.

Thanks for the link, Fun finish that one.
Moreno with the Purito style kick - he could be sneaky one for Vuelta.
Scarponi takes GC best of the Astana's with the young Angel Lopez just not quite there.

Dani Moreno took enough time on Miguel Angel Lopez to displace the Colombian, so the question will be how much time he got on Rein Taaramae at the finish.

Rein Taaramae finished the stage in second for Astana despite all the work he visibly did for Astana team mates Miguel Angel Lopez and Michele Scarponi. Takes out the General Classification by two seconds over the veteran Italian stage racer.

My mistake I thought it was Scarponi in second. Wow massive win by Taaramae.

i was at the final stage of the Post Danmark Rundt. Got autographs from, Breschel, Valgren, Gogl, McCarthy, Kolar and Mørkøv. I saw the podiums as well. Didn't manage to get autographs from Juul Jensen or juraj Sagan since I couldn't find them. Overall great day and very happy that Juul Jensen took the overall. |

That should be the overall race victory for Ion Izagirre at the 2015 Tour de Pologne. Bart De Clerq put in one heck of an individual time trial to take it down to the wire however.
Amazing ride by Marcin Bialoblocki to win the stage!
