Hmm... only other thing I can think of is that you lowered your sponsor objectives at the start of January (top 10 instead of top 3, etc) and ended up with your old budget, though that seems like too much of a coincidence. Maybe a bug in PCM 15? Works fine in several careers over many seasons in PCM 14.
See what happens at the end of next season. Worst case - you running out of money - you just manually add the missing sum at the start of the season with the editor. Sou you could just give yourself 750k now (difference times 12). |

I haven't changed anything, that is why it is weird. I will just add the sum, if it doesn't change at some point. |

Having a career with Bora running now in the second year and already had 3 very satisying races.
Firstly Nerz managed to finish second in La Vuelta (13 minutes down on Froome, Valverde crashed out)
Starting up the second year Zakarin took the win for me at Milan-San Remo.
And lately he and estonian champion Tanel Kangert brought me a beautiful 1-2. Kangert went away together with Buchmann with 150 to go and took one minute home, Zakarin surprised the reduced bunch with a late attack before the final hill. |

What exactly does the potential of a rider mean in career mode?
How good he can become?
How fast he progresses?
I'm really trying to get a game going, but I want to both play as a custom team AND not take riders from current teams. So I'd like to make like 10 riders on my own that hopefully won't become all superstars. |

Is there something like a rage thread?
I'm playing with a custom team TdF. Kelderman lost 20minutes in the Alps, After being 4th After the pyrenees, without injury, Bad form or fatigue. And on top Pelucchi, in green jersey with comfortable lead, was forced to abandon After the 20th stage! He finished the stage just 30minutes behind the winner! What is this for a Time limit? |

How good he can become. Progression can be edited before you start career in sta_cyclist_progression. That's a scale from 1 to 8,the sweet spot is from 4 to 7, there you can make the most realistic riders. 8 potential you shouldn't use it, that doesn't make superstars, that makes monsters 7 potential can make superstars as well, but if you are making 10 youngsters you can assign 7 to one or 2 as well.

I'm currently playing Career mode on PCM 2014 with Movistar and also into the third season of my Be A Pro mode in PCM 2015. I was thinking about starting a Career mode soon in PCM 2015. I am thinking about starting again with Movistar or change things up with Ettix Quickstep. I'm waiting for the 2016 DB. Any suggestions?
Also, another game I'd like to start is with a new Continental custom team. I'm looking for someone to design my jerseys. Any help?

There are many shirt makers you can ask. Most of the active ones are open for requests and you can find their creations in the pcm 15 gfx section

I've seen some of their creations. Hoping to get in touch with someone just as soon I decide the details of the custom team...

Reading this thread confirms what I thought, career mode is worse than PCM, which I enjoyed.. I selected Team Sky, as I always do, and I lost all enthusiasm, as I couldnt find how to assign my scout to a region, whoever decided to change scouting should be fired.
Then, the second thing I always do, before setting rider objectives etc, is training. This baffled me, I couldnt see how my riders would progress, I couldnt see which rider has best increase in training which attribute, and the coaches seemed to have no attributes at all. So my career mode ended after one day, with me not even advancing.
Awful changes, in my opinion unplayable, so I will not be using it, they seemed to change things that didn't need changing. |

I finally managed to finish a full season with a team that is not Omega Pharma / Etixx. Decided to start a career with Caja Rural, and I made an overview of my very first season:
GC POSITIONS:
STAGE AND CLASSICS WINS:
SECONDARY RANKINGS WON:
PLACES OF HONOUR:
TEAM TRANSFERS:
FINAL PCT STANDINGS:
It's a pity I missed a promotion to WT, but I realise my team wouldn't be armed for the most prestigious division in today's cycling. I had a hard time achieving renewals for Bilbao and especially Barbero. My goal is to reach the WT in 2017, but I'll need some extra signings in order to keep my place there, in case I'm capable of claiming a spot first, of course.

<unfunny_joke>This game is still full of bugs. For example, I saw Gerrans attacking.</unfunny_joke> |

For those interested, here are the most notable results of my second season with Caja Rural:
GC POSITIONS:
STAGE AND CLASSICS WINS:
SECONDARY RANKINGS WON:
PLACES OF HONOUR:
TEAM TRANSFERS:
Seems like I'll be spending another year in the PCT division.

That's a nice compliment, thanks! It's harder to keep your best riders compared to older editions of the game and I don't want to lose the Spanish identity of the team either, so I try to keep it as Spanish-speaking as possible |

That's a very good result with Intxausti winning the Vuelta. Almost the same thing happened in my Movistar career (playing on PCM 14 with 2015 db) in 2016. Eventually lost by only 10 seconds to Porte, courtesy losing 34 seconds on the last stage ITT.

I like the look of your Caja career; I'm riding for them in Be A Pro at the minute and they're really likeable. |
