76 mo for Vuillermoz is a joke... 74 is perfect for him
And wilco kelderman deserves -1 in mo imo 76 or 77

I'm surprised you've said this as Vuillermoz has been one of the best climbing domestiques for a couple of years now and the best domestiques all have between 80-76 anyway. Porte is at the top end with 80 and riders like Fuglsang and Kreuziger are 78, so there's no problem putting him at 76 because he rides like a 76. He's capable of finishing highly in GT's even after slaving for his leaders like Bardet, Peraud or Pozzovivo.

He's actually impressive on short steep hills like the Fleche and hilly stages in tours and is probably at least worth 78 in hills.

Don't let the fact that he breathes like a fish blind you to his abilities.

When Movistar upped the speed in the beginning on Alp d'huez Bardet got dropped from the Froome group and Vuillermoz pulled him up till the group of Contador and Nibali. Vuillermoz still managed to to beat riders like Samuel Sanchez, Warren Barguil and Mathias Frank on that stage. So of course Vuillermoz is a climber. He deserve his 76MO at least.

Throwing a question in here and it looks to be a design flaw in the stats system or something that has been overlooked in game design.

If anybody saw Vanmarcke attack near the end of Ride London-Surrey classic on Sunday they would've seen him of course get caught with a few kms to go, Now if a rider like Geraint Thomas or Tony Martin had attacked in a similar situation there would've been a much greater chance of them winning in real life, because in this position these riders would go into TT mode, something that Vanmarcke can't really do.

In game Vanmarcke has a flat stat of 79 one of the highest in the game, in fact the same as Geraint Thomas and a bit less than Tony Martin. Now in game and in this situation both Thomas and Martin would have no advantage over Vanmarcke in this position, as the game AI would only read their flat stat making their task just as hard as that of Vanmarcke, when in reality they would be at an advantage.

I've also found that the flat stat is not that noticeable in gameplay anyway, outside of sprint trains and pulling at the front of the peloton.

I'm wondering is there anyway us stat geeks could try and fix this sitruation?

RES stat would normally do the trick. And this is also part of the reason why I tend to give (pure) TTists a good RES stat. Riders strong on the flat often recieve a good RES stat.
However in the specific case of Vanmarcke this is difficult, given Vanmarcke needs his RES stat to do well on the cobbles.

PCM is limited in such specific things, there is not a 100% accurate way for such things, we can't recreate everything sadly enough.

Meh. Don't think it's that sadly. How boring would the game be if every result was reproduced from real life Pfft
It makes the game interesting Wink

That's true of course, we do not want to recreate every result.
But in such cases it would be good to have the option to create more differences between the riders.

I thought of lowering the RES stat at first then realised he would need this for the cobbles anyway. I guess the only option would be for the idea to be submitted to Cyanide that when a rider is out front and riding solo his TT stat could be used.

@Hollyghost
We do not(can not) influence that, it's a Cyanide thing.
