MOD SUBMISSIONS ARE CLOSED. My steering wheel broke today and I am unable to supply gameplay to everyone. I will start writing the PMs with info on how to vote for the series we are going to race. Track nominations and voting are still open so remember to vote and nominate. |

Would the choice of car mod not affect which circuits are most suitable?
Of those mentioned, I'd say no to the Canada and Brazil out suggestions as I'd like to see those circuits remain in. (Similarly no to any out suggestions involving Sepang, Spa, Monaco, Silverstone, Suzuka and Monza) And yes to Circuit de la Sarthe because that is also the name of a bike race Not really too bothered about which circuits are used otherwise.

I'll be using 3rd person mode.

No to Canada and Brasil (Surfers Paradise ), yes to Bathurst, Macau and the Norschleife. Saying no to La Sarthe since I'm good at the A1 Ring.
I also add that instead of Hockeinheim we go to Norisring. |

As a german, I have to say "NO." to that...although I like the Norisring, but I also like the Hockenheimring.

Hm...I would be ok, if you put the Norisring instead of the Nürburgring.

So i won't get time to do a full run-up of tracks or mods. So here i'll just drop a series of suggestions to be considered.
Of the Mods thus far mentioned: GT2 and TCC are my favorites. GT2 has a great mix of cars and with balanced physics it'll be really cool to see such a variation in looks fighting it out. They've also got good speed but not a lot of downforce. It makes for a nice challenge but one that is quite accessible to most people. Any TCC series is worth considering, obvious bias for BTCC aside. Slow cars that are easy to race but devilish to master. Great fun but would need more careful calendar selection than the faster GT2's (seriously, most F1 tracks are not good to drive in touring cars).
Echoing SN's point of it being hard (more like pointless) to pick tracks without knowing the car class. F1, GT2, BTCC etc all drive very differently which is why their race calendars are very different.
Melbourne - Actually drives ok in a TCC, great for GT2's.
Malaysia - Awful in TCC, just barable for GT2's. (could be replaced by a second Aus track like Bathurst or Surfers Paradise or anything of the V8 schedule)
Shanghai - Awful in TCC and not great in GT2's. (should be replaced by Macau)
Bahrain - Just god no no no no, it's an awful track at the best of times. (i'd replace it with another USA based race somehwere like Road America, Road Atlanta, Sebring, Sonoma... lots of options really)
Catalunya - Awful at the best of times. (replace it with Jerez or Jarma to stay in spain)
Monaco - Keep it, it's great in any car
Montreal - Keep it, it's great in any car
Austria - Keep for GT2's, replace for TCC's. (could replace with Kranebitten, an old Austrian DTM race, or with another German round somewhere like Norisring or Sachsenring)
Silverstone - Keep for GT2's, replace for TCC's (replace with any of the BTCC races)
Hungaroring - Keep it, works well in both classes
Spa - Lose it (replace with Zolder, trust me)
Monza - Keep it
Singapore - Works but would be a looong lap (can't think of a regional replacement so why not another BTCC track)
Suzuka - Keep it (only replacement would be Motegi)
Sochi - Replace it with anything (good spot for a French round, just not Magny-Cours)
Texas - Never driven in a TCC so i'll say keep it
Mexico - Keep it, as long as it's the 2015 version
Brazil - Keep it
Abu Dhabi - Replace it (Zandvoort is awesome or something Scandinavian)
I'll put faith in the organisers to come up with a good list that makes racing fun and not an hours slog around a 2m30s lap or a track that never allows the cars up to speed.

None of the replacements look good at the moment despite surfers paradies, so that´s the only yes from me! |

@TMM and SN: Thanks for your input. I mostly agree with you unless you want to remove Spa. We can replace Brasil. It's in my opinion an awful track. But so far so good.
EDIT: I love the idea of Zandvoort.
@SSJ: The Number on the front page is just a counter, to see how many drivers we got. If the car with the #13 doesn't look good to you, you are able to change it. Imo everyone should be able to pick a car, which looks nice to the driver.

Sao Paolo is by far the best track in the whole of South America! Cut it and i'm out immediately. It's tons of fun to drive and really perfectly suits a slower race series as it's relatively short and tight. Certainly compared to Spa it would be a horrible choice to cut it when the replacement opportunities are what, Rio? At least Spa could be switched with Zolder, Spa is historical but is so not fun to drive in a non-F1/Le Man style car because it's so long and open, there's no challenge to it and you'll only do like 5 laps in an hour... not fun.

Why just doesn't each member that has signed up so far submit a track, and we use the tracks they submitted? |

Ok guys. We use Miguels idea, since its great. Miguel is allowed to pick a track first, since he had the idea.

I thought again. Miguel is excluded from the league
Spoiler just kidding obviously, you can all start posting your races now, If someone should get Zabeld, he has to pick another track.

I'm going away for a few days and will be back on Friday, if you need a track nomination I'll say Melbourne

In my opinion it would be a good idea to have the races with bigger run-off areas at first. The non-pro riders like me would have it much easier to have a track like Istanbul earlier than f.e. Zandvoort |

but about those less fortunate that don't give a flying fuck of what tracks are used?
We want to have 20 tracks. when everyone has told their choice, and when no-one else wants to give a choice, the guys, who gave a choice, can give one again...

Then you just select your national race. I'm just happy to survive 3 laps (did it once last season )
