There was nothing from Etixx at all at the finish. No Martin or Renshaw and Cav is left to fend for himself.

I didn't think Greipel would take it after being poorly positioned around that corner. I think the last years always the 2nd at the corner took the win, which was Kristoff this time. |

I don't think the Etixx rider by Greipel in the final turn was Cav - Cav was even further back.

I'm curious to see where Coquard ends up next season, with a train and some more experience he has some big wins in him This. Very impressive today, as he has been on most sprint stages. |

And Sagan..has done it again..clear green jersey but no stage win. Preudhomme has lot of work to do..to find out a system how to beat Sagan..
Hopefully he leaves the points system alone, it was never meant to be a sprinters jersey so they just need to accept the unique talent that Sagan is and celebrate what he can do.

The issue this time was Kristoff going for it from that corner... That only works on PCM!

Greipel a beast. 2agan too tired and again without a stage win I just love him because of this. Cav is crap, Kristoff left too early. And WTF Coquard faster even than Greipel in the end but great stage after all. |

I'm never saying that a sprinter isn't a first row sprinter anymore, especially if that sprinter wins 4 stages
green jersey without a stage win

Correct..Cav. did it always like that..best line at last corner to keep up speed then out and easy.
Katusha did it perfectly..Kristoff is not just fast has he was at spring...year ago TdF.
Gorilla same time..he was way to far still got it..he is in amazing shape at the moment.
Great rider/ person/ team mate..easy to like him. Well done. |

SN's right, on the replay you can see Cav coming round one of his teammates in about 10th place whilst Griepel is already sprinting.
And Coquard was extremely impressive there, It's a shame he wasn't closer to Griepel when he started his sprint as he came from 2-3 bike lengths down on the Gorilla when he started his sprint to end up half a bike length down by the line.

Agree! I said early on in the Tour that Kristoff just wasn't in the same condition as he was in the spring, he just went to deep winning what he did and come Tour time he was cooked against guys who were fresher

Sagan really showed how much he has matured in this Tour, not only grabbing Green but how he also managed to be a good teammate for Contador.
