The Tour is 3360 k's so during the duration of the Tour he rode an extra 2574 k's of recon and practice? No wonder he wasn't a factor in the GC

Most teams do recon most important stages. But some riders are bad at recovering. |

Yeah I get that but I don't think you are seeing it, how would of Pinot have ridden an extra 2574 k's during the Tour? There is noway in hell he has ridden 2574 k's of recon or recovery rides. It's just not possible

I can't decide wether or not the Paris-stage is a great stage or the most boring one ever. Especially now since the stage is neutralized from the first lap?
Also, does that work the same as the 3km-rule? I guess that if Froome is hindered by a crash he still gets the same time as the group he was in, but what if there happened to be echelons?

The Paris stage is starting to get a bit boring, i'd like to see a final day TT again but the problem with that is if the yellow is already to far in front then the final stage would be a massive anti-climax. I think we are stuck with this stage as the TDF finish

no way.
You are even ready sacrifice Cav.. It can be mistake..he will be in the fight today.
still his Tour was disappointing and I prefer Tony to win(also MSR )
And Tony is the only guy, who could solo on the Champs when 5 teams are chasing.
Give him a break..how many sprinters stages have been here at TdF?..one he won was also light uphill. Now way any sprinter was able to repeat Cav. 2009 success.)
Only he did failed was stage 2..when he started to early (but he was smart enough to even be at that first group).

Don't they still have to finish the distance though?
What happens if he comes down and can't finish the laps, does he still get the same time or does he fail to finish the tour and lose the jersey?

They should make it interesting by adding a few more foreing elements.
"So, the peloton has been reduced to 112 riders after they passed the sniping sandpeople. Froome also managed to clear the wheel of fire in splendid fashion. Now let's see how the remaining riders fair on the next lap, where they have to duell with Viper and Nitro from the show "American Gladiator".

Had a feeling Durbridge would try and get into a break on this stage after watching him do it at the Giro. Nice to see Chava have a dig
