Don't think Froome deserves such a high TT/Prologue stat. Hasn't had such good results in that discipline for a while.

WTF I almost think the same with Arberg. Pfft Just kidding, no offence man. Only Hesjedal and Frank a bit too high for my liking(maybe -1). Also lower Quintana's Acceleration about 75. Wink
Edit: Forgot about Froome's TT

kissaha
And 80 RES is waaaay too much.

Yes 80RES is way too much considering it is out of our matrix, highest RES of the DB at the moment is 77(for Tony Martin).
We want to stay close to Cyanide's matrix(who has 76 as highest I believe).

And why that high REC on Froome? Also, as far as I know, RES dictates how long a rider can keep a certain effort, and how fast bars reload after attacks. We've seen on the last two stages that Quintana attacks multiple times and can keep his effort high over a long period of time. I don't think Froome should have that much higher than Nairo, if higher at all.

I think that Hesjedal should be 78 mtn, but with extremely high recovery and very high resistance. He can't climb as fast as the top guys, but he also will very rarely disappear (if he's on form and trying). He'll get dropped and keep coming back.

Also, as I've said before. Considering how fast yellow bars decrease this year, I think it's worth experimenting with a higher resistance matrix.

I agree with the resistance-thingy, well both actually. Although I have gotten some very good results with second tier climbers/cobblers, just by good effort/bars management. It seems like there is more skills needed to get good results, than just having the strongest rider.

Best climbers in my custom DB looks after TDF :

Froome - 83 MO , 75 REC
Quintana - 82 MO , 84 REC
Contador - 82 MO , 78 REC
Nibali - 81 MO , 81 REC
Aru - 80 MO , 80 REC
Porte - 80 MO , 70 REC
Tejay - 80 MO , 74 REC
Landa - 80 MO , 76 REC
Valverde - 80 MO , 76 REC
Pinot 80 ? Purito 79 ? (still thinking ) Smile

See stage 10.

Either Froome had a more mountain and low REC
OR
Must they had the same mountain and Froome more RES and Quintana more REC.

He didn't had to produce good results because he trained more this year in the mountain than the TT because the tour was mostly mountainous, shortest TT in history of tour

Looking very nice, but 84 REC for Quintana is much too high. Imo 82 will be okay.

Quintana puts in multiple attacks that try to kill his opponent off slowly, whereas Froome puts in devastating attacks that try to kill quickly. The both should have high RES, it's just that Froome's attacks are more like red bar than yellow bar.

Does the RES stat affect the red bar on mountain terrain as well?

I don't quite see why that is relevant. Stage 10 was completely flat before the mountain, which favors Froome quite a bit. Over all the mountain stages, Quintana has gained time on Froome, so I don't see how Froome can have higher MO. And if you see my post above, you can't drag RES in to your arguments. They should have equal MO, and Froome quite a bit lower REC.

Him training less TT does not really help him keeping his TT stat. He have not been one of the best TT/Prologue riders for two years and therefor deserve a small downgrade. Of course he have to produce good results too keep his stat, does Betancur deserve a 80 Hil stat because he didn't train as much climbs the last two years?

Betancur isn't a hard worker that's why he doesn't deserve 80 hill but when you look at froome is working much harder and is about to be crowned the new tour de france winner
