Pozzovivo really struggling in those hilly stages. Expected him to do better with his okay HI stat
Well... Needs some good form now, otherwise this Giro will be disappointing. No stage win and I don't expect a breakaway victory either.
Thanks again for the reports. I'm sorry for my negative attitude here, but I thought whining would help

Great performance of Ginanni again, giving us few more points. Faiers lost a lot of time, hopefully he will try something in mountain stages.
With Ricco´s huge leading right now, may he start dreaming about overall podium?

That's brilliant from Guldhammer! He's really making the most out of every stage and being able to perform what he's good for on that day, it looks like.
Gapping everyone except Ricco and Cunego on a hilly stage is really great, and even climbing to 4th overall. He will start to slide down though in the mountains, but it's starting to look very good for a top 10, maybe we will have to adjust our goal for this race, depending on the two coming mountain stages.
Speaking of those two mountain stages, Ricco must really start to like his chances of overall victory. 3'40 is a big lead, and almost five minutes down to Schleck. Now I can actually see him win the whole thing, he has really got the maximum out of these hilly stages.
Thanks for another report, roturn! And the pace is also great, which is very enjoyable |

Gaps on these hilly stages are insane...
Krasnoperov even behind Ulanowski today, such a great rider!

Another amazing stage! But oh no! No dreaming of this or that for us! I have seen things fuck up Big time before. Especially from Ricco. So I will just enjoy things as long as it lasts.

These gaps on the hills are crazy. If Cunego had gotten up to the group of Ricco that would have been nice... Still taking 1min on most other rivals is pretty nice, hopefully he can keep doing similar the rest of the race.

What an entertaining Giro, and we're only on stage 11!
Although it does appear Jurgen Roelandts has finally decided to contest a sprint finish properly. It was just ithe sprint for 39th though. Great
Nice to see Portela come 7th on the stage for us though, great result!

Nice 2nd place for Vuillermoz - even better as it propels him to 23rd on GX. Pinot did well again, the challenge now is to leapfrog Ponzi and Brambilla into the top 10. Looking forward to seeing him in the U25 leaders jersey also. |

Another good hilly performance by Brajko, nice
Just hope he will carry his form into the mountainous stages.
Nice to see Anton try something aswell, he did well for his capabilities.

Could Brambilla actually be challenging for a top 10 here?

These gaps are quite huge, Velits did quite ok once again. His gap to Ricco is really big to Ricco now though. It doesn't look too realistic Velits will be able to realistically beat Ricco in this race. Ricco even looks good for overall win now!

Ricco really isn't kidding about taking as much time as possible on the hilly stages. Madrazo also got an edge on Schleck so it should be quite entertaining
Good to see Brajkovic up there too and hopefully he can do a PCT team proud in this packed field

We join quite a few breaks in more or less hopeless stages and we leave this opportunity to others... Either Topchanyuk or Kononenko should've been in this group.
Ulanowski having a tough time, finishing really late, but still before half of Metinvest's team

Unexpected jump in the GC, just where Pozzovivo belongs
Looking at this gaps, it's pretty obvious that the GC is anything but settled. Quite a loss for some big guns/pink today! Glad Pozzovivo went for the crucial attack/group with a strong Schleck.

It really is not surprising that Ricco loses a lot of time here, while statwise I cant see why Cunego should be 3 minutes better, and definately some ridere ahead that should be doable to stay with, like Brajkovic.
Keeping the leaders jersey, the sprint jersey and having no important riders drop from the race has to be viewed upon as a succes. The thinking that Ricco can win the race, even podium it, should hopefully stop now though. I expect the final 9 stages to be very difficult, and my goal of having Ricco in top 7 remains.

Hmm, Velits again quite bad in a mountain stage, Brajkovic, Pozzovivo, Guldhammer and even Kohl all better, that means Velits has a lot of things to improve. At least König is still in KoM jersey.
