It's a play on Vinokourov and Kashechkin It used to be Wiggokourov and Froomechkin, but the roles and now progressed to this.

Yeah, also Valverde was too weak. If Valverde had been better, Quintana and he could've reached the top without Froome and things would've been different.
Froome had to catch up before the top and he did.

Say what you will, but Froome really did everything perfect this Tour and I have lots of respect for him during this Tour.

I disagree. He made a lot of crucial mistakes imo, but luck have been on his side this whole Tour. He is a strong rider, but he is stupid as fuck when it comes to tactics

Don't see where he made any big mistake considering he's always been firmly in the lead.
And luck... There are those who say that you force your luck. Though I'm not one of them, and Froome has been lucky on a few occasions, but then again, every rider has a bit of luck every now and then. Can't do anything without some luck.

He have been going flat out on strange times in this tour, instad of just relaxing. Like on Mur de Bretagne. And then now he has like 4-5 guys when Quintana attacks, and instead of just staying with his team, and go full gas on the way to Alpe d´Huez they first drop 3-4 of their guys, and then he rides from Porte because freaking Nibali attacks. He isn't very cool when he needs to be. Fortunatly for him, he is incredibly strong.

I dont see it either. Simply put, Riis is old and grumpy and thinks he is ome kind of tactical guru, always lashing out at Saxo and Froome.. Froome did the right thing today imo, he could have chosen to sit up and wait, but it was more safe just to mark it and did it well considering he just joined on the top. Seemed very calculated to me.

Anyways, just fuck Bjarne Riis. Getting so tired of it and hoping he gets a new team so he doesnt join the desk anymore

so tour win is gone..Movistar now should keep also Piti into podium

And what if Valverde had been strong enough to just make the gap with Quintana? Then Froome would have been in a load of trouble. You can't deny that. He was mighty lucky, that Valverde was just lacking the last bit of power.

Yeah but it was easily predicted that Piti would lack the power to maintain that effort

Still wouldn't have meant Froome is stupid. What else could he have done? Wait for all his team mates? No.
Quintana and Valverde are in 2nd and 3rd, so that means they have been better than Froome's team mates.
Froome knew he had to catch them on top and he did.

Unlike calling Valverde's obvious weakness these last few days, the lotto numbers are not easily predicted Pfft

Valverde has been fading for a few days now so yes I do believe it was easy to predict

Ofc. he could have waited for his teammates. Valverde and Quintana could perhaps have gotten 1/1:30 to Froome on the top of the climb. But then they had a head wind on the downhill, with only Valverde to help Quintana, and then a long flat part, with Sky having 5 guys to go max.

Always easier to sit on your computer and judge, but this could have gone terribly wrong for Froome, if Valverde had just been able to follow the last 500m

Would be fun if Q attacks in the first corner already, steepest part of the climb.
