So let`s see where Kwiatkowski is going then. Sky seems weird to me, when his ambitions are GC results, whereas at Sky he might get some chances but I doubt in the biggest races. |

Would love, if they could sign Dege to win a bit on the cobbles. And while they're at it, Kittel would be great as well.

Also, Bjarne Riis will probably lead CULT from next season on, bringing money with him :/
Maybe he also brings Saxo Bank with him as well...

The interesting part about the plans is that Statoil (Norwegian oil) is reported to go in as the main sponsor. And it's pretty much the only Norwegian company i see possible to fund atleast a $12-$15 million budget yearly. Also Rema 1000 is one of Hushovd's sponsors so it's possible to get them as a secondary sponsor. That would be the dream scenario. And would make them one of the richest teams in the WT, if not the richest.

Dont think Etixx would sign Degenstache. Unless Tommeke is retiring. Degenstache would fit in with Cav in the team. Kittel and Cav on the same team no chance.
Kwiatkowski is stupid if he thinks hell get GC chance at Sky. Hes not even british and there better climbers at that team already and theyre domestiques. So yeah. Bad career move for him. |

Surely Boonen shouldn't come into consideration, he's done as a reliable classics rider now

I get what you mean but I was thinking more of an tactical option on the course. When you always have that quick guy you can take more risks with Styby and Terpstra from long way out. |

What I think is more of a problem is the nationalistic profile he wants on his team. He calls it a kind of "Team Norway", and altough cycling is increasingly popular in Norway, the quality of riders in Norway is not good enough to make up the largest part of a World Tour team. He also depends on the norwegian riders already out there (Kristoff, EBH, Holst Enger, Bystrøm etc), and hope they will sign for his team. Kristoff has already said he is very happy at Katusha, and he will not be cheap either. EBH is so fond of Norway, so he will definitely go there.
Then you can say he can make up a Scandinavian team, but then he gets competition from CULT and maybe Saxo as well. Lets also hopes he realizes he needs riders from the big cycling nations. If only scandinavians, the team would not be attractive enough in the rest of the cycling world. So I think he's still pretty far away from having a WT-team ready, and he still awaits a head sponsor as well
