Time to review the idea of budget caps in professional cycling? I was against the idea at first, but I'd actually like to enjoy watching next season, as opposed to sit here watching Sky dominate all of the GTs, week longs, and probably the hilly classics at this point.

Uhmm.. Not really true.
He can practically win every one week stage race he starts in.
Only grand tours are a difficulty for him.
Though BMC is a worse team than Sky qua professionality, so that might be a problem for him and his results will go downward. |

Well i doubt they will sign all those guys anyway and the climbers they sign will just become part of the train. Kwiatek isn't a climber and the sooner he realises it the better for him

I don't think that Mikel Landa signed with sky for the money because Movistar offered him 1.5m euros and sky only offered him 1.2m euros which means that he decided to go with team sky because he's certain he's going to be leader in the giro. If he had stayed with Astana he would never be leader because Nibali and aru are both Italian. But with Movistar he would absolutely be leader but the problem is other than Quintana and valverde Movistar don't have great climbers and he must think that with team sky he will get all the help to win the giro. |
