Goddammit, not another break. Of course Hesjedal and Talansky were in it, Talansky has a puncture,, and now they're somehow both back in the peloton. What a joke.
Really hope the break is caught.
What's wrong with the break staying away?
Wow, selfishly, I don't have any of my favorite riders in the break, and my favorite rider could have done well today it was caught.
But overall I just hate stages where the breakaway stays away not because they played it right or fought hard, but because the peloton just doesn't care at all, like a stage win means nothing.
Haha! Fair enough about the favourite rider part but why would the peloton chase it? It's been pretty hot in France and the last week is difficult. They have nothing to gain chasing to hard on a day like today
Because then they could get a stage win?

Porte having another "bad" day. Guy is either way flying with a smile or somewhat messing it up. No middleground for Lil' Richie Porte.

At first I thought that the Etixx' guy push may have blown him into the ditch. Poor Lil' Richie.

LRP isn't really having a bad day, it's a front wheel puncture and he's a domestique on a day which should be decisive, also Sky don't ever seem to get wheel changes quite right with LRP

GC riders don't need to avoid stage wins like they're a plague.

Saw him riding slightly off the side of the road when trying to get back to the front on a bit of gravel which probably caused it. |

Yes, that's why I had it in quotes. "bad" day like in, something fucking him over, which doesn't have to be himself necessarily. At least for me it's usually a bad day when I have a puncture.

There are bigger stages to come which suits the GC more, what's the point is destroying your team on a medium mountain stage then when you will need them on the big cols to come
