He still lost about one minute. Which is a shame since I think he would have had no trouble following the big guns.

i must say that this tdf is boring, nobody from gc contender attacking, actually, gc is already done. only 3rd place is a mystery. The only thing that makes me watch this are polish riders braking away. Despite that and the stage when fromebot won the race, i must say that flat stages looks more interesting than moutain ones, contador no acceleration, same quintana, when i look at it, i can say that fromme is clean, al the other riders just have no form. |

Actually not a terrible ride by Talansky in the end. 13th from the contenders. he was dropped very early on, and ended up only losing to the guys who made the initial selection. he also finished with and ahead of a lot of guys who dropped well after him, like Barguil.
So not as terrible as I had thought, but still, pretty bad.

Think it has been relatively interesting as well so far. Thought the same on Saint Martin when Froome won and Porte passed Quintana - we have all seen that before, it doesnt raise THAT many eyebrows anymore. But Thomas' perfermance today?
Gimme a break, man.....

I still can't get used to seeing Thomas like this. It just feels wrong for some reason... |

Can someone explain to me how a rider can be a top cobbler in April and an even better climber in July?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

That's overplaying it, yes he is strong and stronger than I thought but if Thomas and Quintana went toe to toe as GC leaders in a GT then Quinana would destory Thomas over 3 weeks

Brailsford has done that many times: They dont eat Nutella, they are having healthy smoothies and they somehow have trainers who are much more knowledgeable than all the others, doing things that no on else has any clue on, apparantly. Walsh also said that the other teams were amateurs, while Froome said that they don't know how to prepare themselves on rest days, hence the carnage 2 days ago - talking about Contador (9 GTs), Nibali (3 GTs) and the Movistar leaders directed by Unzue (won 5 times in a row). Basically, minus the Nutella, everything US Postal claimed for 7 years, just a tad more ludicrous if you will
2+2=5? Close your eyes tightly... I dont wanna say this is more obvious than US Postal, but US Postal AT LEAST recruited top-tier climbers like Heras, Azavedo, Rubiera etc instead of turning track riders, cobbled specialists, TT-specialists and no names into the best climbers in the world. |

If you think this Sky-team is impressive, just wait until TdF 2016 when Viviani tows Froome, Porte and Thomas up Alpe d'Huez.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

Sky seems to be having so much power in them. Even on climb up the Huy or cobbles they have so much power. Unreal.
They might not be doping. They don't even have to get out of saddle to attack as if they are on motorbike, they jus sit.
That is what they have a motor hidden in bike. Seriously! |
