Will be interesting to see, how much time Froome wins on Quintana and how much time Quintana wins on the other, must also be the other fight for third place!
The podium in Paris :
1: Froome
2: Quintana
3: ? |

Whoever wins lets remember Fabio Casartelli that died coming down todays mountain (Col de Portet d'Aspet) 20 years ago, 1995
That year we had a Sky-train look-alike in Indurains Banesto... controlling the peloton to the full and winning his 5th TDF.
A young Pantani won the white jersey that year I recall.

Do not think so much on Contador because riders like Landa is stronger. |

So Landa climbed better in the last week of 1 Giro and that means he's stronger than Contador?
Don't forget that Contador already has 9 Grand Tours on his name (officially 7, though) and always have some nice tricks up his sleeve, experience, super talent and whatnot.
Maybe the best prove is that Landa perhaps was the better climber in the Giro. But who won the Giro, easily?
Contador. |

I think either Contador finishes second or off the podium, he will try something for the win, its just what he does so all or nothing is the attitude. It will be like what happened 2013 or 2011 Tour

I wouldn't mind seeing some stage glory hunting later on from Contador; Alpe d'Huez comes to mind. He doesn't need to be far down in GC since he'd do it either way. What's important of course are his legs. If he feels good in third week I'm sure he'll expand the long list of his heroics.

His 2011 attack after 17km on the Alpe d'huez stage is one of the stages i enjoyed the most. |

Contador.
Contador is a frickin world class rider, the without a doubt the best GT-rider of our generation, but I still maintain that Landa woulda won, despite the 4 minute loss on the ITT or whatever, if he had been able to go right from the start at the Giro and Astana did not devote everything to Aru, even Landa at times. Of course thats just speculation and I may have overrated Landa, but it just seemed to me everytime he got the green light there was nothing to do, not just for Contador, but for everybody. |

I definetely hope Froome chases it. Plateau de Beille should be a climb for the best climbers in the world, this is how it should be!
funny thing is that it's said that however wins here wins the tour that year. (Pantani 1998, Armstrong 2002 & 2004, Contador 2007)
still waiting on Vanendert though

Do any of you know who is Astanas leader? Does anyone know? Does Astana know?
