THought it might come in handy to make a list of things that have changed in the db structure. If anyone wants to add things, please do, so we can make a list of important things that will help all DB makers..
So far I've found the following:
-Removal of dyn_young_rider. Scouted riders now appear directly in dyn_cyclist.
-sta_region has changed. There is no chance_pot0 till chance_pot7.. however the temp 1/2 till 6/7 have stayed. It's wise to test how the chance of potential greats is now calculated, because at the moment this is unclear.
-Regenerated names are no longer in regen.xml, the file is gone. In stead, the regenerated names are now stored in the local.cdb. So if you want to add countries and add the first and lastnames, look to the local.cdb...
-There seem to be some tables added relating to the be-a-pro mode, but nothing of interest. I'd like to know if we can influence progression there as well.
JesleyH:
- Capital_f_*stat has been removed, as a follow of the changed progression system
- (Obviously) there is a U23 table now, Dyn_u23_link, linking the development teams to their big team.

not really DB but DB related
XML regen files do not affect starting stats of be-a-pro riders |

Eyolfur said in the official forum gene_i_age_decline is no longer used due to the new progress system. |

Is this hardcoded then?

I think cyclist's stats decreases now not only by his age but also by a bad training or lack of results in races.
The new columns used for progress are f_gain and f_capital inside DYN_Cyclist. |

If I remember correctly, Eyolfur said they will not reveal the new system. They thought it would be silly to determine the decline of a rider based on a sole number. |

I think thats absolutely unacceptable to hardcode or making it as hard as possible to "cheat" for offline players.
Added to this they promised to make major changes to the management part and to the simulate modus, which are laughable.
This is the last version of PCM i bought.

Setting all names in the local.db intead of xml is just making it harder to select the best available name setup.
The local.db got so much other things and I get a feeling that Cyanide will control more how folks try to adjust and improve their game.
Lets sell a 70% good game, and make sure it's hard to improve it beyond 80%.
It's like old days first PC games, no patches then too....
The more flexible a game is the better lasting .

You can extract the tables in the local.cdb to XML so it is only one additional step. |

Hi there,
I am trying to change a riders' fitness. I heard -7000 would be the best value. However i see some AI riders with like +32000 (positive) or -32000 (negative) rating. What do these positive or negative numbers mean? And do they affect fitness?
PS: This is PCM 2015 |
