Sorry, Guido, but we really do need a new thread
Rasmus Guldhammer, who's been on several training camps with Team Saxo Bank and has been impressive in all of them, has signed a pre-contract with Team Columbia, despite the fact that Saxo Bank was very interested.

Not really very big news and they've probably been mentioned before, but this seems the best place to put it:
Rahsaan Bahati has signed a Pro Ccontract with Rock Racing, for the past year Bahati has been racing on an amateur contract.
Ivan Dominguez to Rock Racing.

I miss Rasmussen, I would like to see either Rabobank take him back or Saxo Bank with them being a danish team. I think Rasmussen could still win the Tour de France or a grand tour. He was really improving untill his misjudgement, but did Rasmussen dope, i don't think he did. I think his ban was abit unfair.

September 28th 2007:
While legally not a violation of the anti-doping code, Danish rider Michael Rasmussen was found to have taken Dynepo in the 2007 Tour de France. Dynepo is an EPO product based on human cells. Samples from this year's Tour were analysed in the French anti-doping lab in Châtenay-Malabry, and its technicians have alerted the International Cycling Union (UCI) of the findings, French paper L'Equipe reported in its Friday edition.
Dynepo was found in a urine test of Rasmussen. Rasmussen had not been found positive during the Tour, but was kicked out by his team Rabobank, following his whereabouts affair.
For about a year the French lab has detected Dynepo, all in all about ten cases so far, according to Pierre Bordry, the president of the French Anti-Doping Agency. But none of the cases could have been declared as a positive finding, as the WADA criteria of positivity of a test are not yet adapted to the advances in the pharmaceutical market.

No I didn't know he doped because i turned the 2007 tour off for a couple of stages in disgrace. Then watched the last 3 stages.

Latest news on the subject are from 28th of May where Rasmussen is quoted for saying that he's in negotiations with a Pro Tour team and a Pro Continental team.

Hello everybody
First of all I would like to state that it is not my intention to say wether or not a rider is doped.
But Ive been thinking about the Dynepo Medical ever since hearing of it.
And my question to you guys are, do you think it´s doping if the drug you take isn´t on the doping list?
Personally i compare it with the fact that if its not illegal then you´ve done nothing wrong. Legally.
Ofcourse theres always the moral issue, and for me it´s morally wrong to take any drug that can give you an advantage over your oponents.
What are your thoughts about this?
Ps.
Sorry for bringing this abit out of topic

Don't bring it up here, they're are already way to many doping threads, and this one should not be contaminated

Lotto need sprinters. Roelandts isn't going to cut it at the top level.
