Someone here uploaded stage of Tour Down Under. Could you also upload .dem files for Australia? Can't find any good enough...
That was me, but I didn't use a .dem file. Sorry

I don't think that anyone has managed to find a proper .dem-file and get it working.

I found a couple for Canada, and I'm trying to make the two Canadian ProTour races. But it seems like the dem files in data/dem is named after the postion they cover, but i don't know what to call the two for canada.

Either way, those two races have already been made.

Anybody knows if the variant stages function is still working?
In German forum it was said that maybe Cyanide deleted this function. This would be great s**t.
Otherwise I am creating Tour de France 08 as variant stage.

We don't really know yet.
I don't think that the old way works (the variants folder), but it may be possible using DYN_variant_stage and DYN_variant_race in the DB.
I'm just guessing, though.

I just continue and upload it in 1-2 weeks probably. So the big DB`s can try to add it if possible when the final patch is out

You must "rebuild all cities" before exporting the stage.

I have a GPX file for a stage of the FBD Insurance Ras, so the route is completely accurate. The stage is roughly 150km, yet the editor refuses to open it.
"Max width for a stage is 210km (Your stage is 227.89km)"
Anyone else encountered this, or have an idea for a way around it?

Choose Latitude Max instead of Longitude Max and load the .gpx again. As long as the route is still to 100% on the map there are no difference for the race.

So I finish a stage, only to be told I have 57 errors that need to be fixed.
Only - most of them I have no idea how to fix, or I dont even think theres a problem with them.
"Intersection with only 2 ways" - Well, thats because theyre not intersections
"Road point too close from intersection"
"Road overlap"
"Uncompleted spline object"

Yes they are. Sorry but its stubborn. Add third road.
"Road point too close from intersection"
Too many turns right next to each other perhaps.
"Road overlap"
Too tight a turn most likely.
"Uncompleted spline object"
City, forest or lake or something like that that only got one or two "points"

Well, all my cities/forests have at least 4 points

Have you clicked the "go to" button next to the error? Its rather obvious but you might learn something.

Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesnt.
