You'll fall back at some point, it's inevitable, and by thinking the way you are now that may just mean you lose motivation to do anything else... Don't live for the grades, live for the proces of getting them, it's much more important.

After being off school for a month, I somehow managed to not suck when coming back. Quite the opposite actually - I've been on fire lately!
Got A's in English and Biology, a B in Maths, C's in French, German and Religion and a D in Latin.
That might not sound particularly good, but the class average on all those would be somewhere around a D (our school system is fucked) and French and Latin are my only genuinely bad subjects. I need a D to pass those classes for the year and never, ever worry about them again, and atm I'm looking on track to do so.

Come to Murica, you can get A+'s without trying

This is only 75% true
It depends majorly on the class and who the professor is, maybe even the school thats attended

2 A's and 2 B's. Still haven't got a C yet in my college "career." GPA is at a decent 3.4 which is rather good since my university doesn't allow A+. I need to take 7 more classes before I graduate next spring with a Journalism major and an advertising/public relations minor.

Our college actually doesn't do the whole "A+, A, A-" thing. They are all treated the same way, which is cool.
I have had 2 C's, Art History and Politics.

Had a pretty rough start this semester and have been caught behind and need to catch up. Working late nights only makes things worse!
Out of interest, what are you guys studying?

Taking Entrepreneurship to hopefully start my own web coding and designing firm.
However, with the social media part, I would LOVE to have a head social media managerial position with one of my favorite sports teams. I am very experienced and spend so much time on them each day I am fairly confident I would have what it takes

lololol...just read a few pages back and found, what everyones grades were...is everyone of you really that good, do you study alot, or are your schools that easy?
My grades at my A-levels were:
* = advanced course
(On a scale from 0-15):
Maths*: 6
I was way to lazy, to even listen to the teacher. Fell often asleep.
German: 8
I was also lazy...Could've been 10 or more, if I wouldn't have been to lazy for Homework.
English*: 12
My teacher was very weird. In this case, I also forgot major homeworks, and my teacher ruined a few tests of me.(I showed her that she made some mistakes in her marking and she said: "Ah, yes. you're right, but I don't want to change that now. It would confuse the others..."
Physics: 10
The subject in which I fell asleep around 90%, due to me not sleeping enough. But the subject was easy, so 10 points.
Biology: 6
Way to lazy to do something here. I just wanted to survive the lesson.
Programming: 3
That's frustrating. Our teacher was poor. He never explained. I also forgot some homework. Frustrating for me since I am pretty good with PCs, but I can't really program. To much Math for me.
Chemistry: 7
Good old Chemistry. I was on 2 points after the first of the four semesters, soi I started to stay awake during the lessons. Next semester 4 points, next 8, last one 12. But I messed up my exam here with only 6 Points.
French: 6
I hate french.
Music: 6
I also hate music.
Sport: 12
I was great in sports. Normally 14 or 15 would've been a must, doing sports for around 12 years now. But I always mess gymnastics up.(Funny because my dad was a professional wrestler(not the show), in the GDR. Maybe thats why I was the best in Judo with his help. My statistic is 24-2-0.(We were 26 in our class. I got my teacher to tap.(submissions were not allowed between students, but my teacher said its fine for him.)
History: 6
I hate History. But I was pretty good in the "behind the scenes" stuff, since I knew facts, no one else knew. Sadly, these facts didn't matter in tests.
Economy: 9
Mostly fell asleep here as well. But I somehow managed to grab major points, due to my knowledge about laws(Yes, its Economy with Law-stuff and social science)
Ethics: 6
I hated to think like someone I don't care about...
Resumee: So as you can see, I didn't learn at any time. Not even for the exams. I also fell asleep a lot. I also mostly didn't do homework. But I don't really know if 13+ points were possible most of the time....
