What happened to the political voting which should have ensured me 12 points for Belgium?

Thanks to all who voted for Austria. I did expect less votes but it's awesome that some people liked this very austrian-pop/viennese track.

Why in ~3 months? Not wanting to sound harsh but that seems awfully quick. 6 months (i.e. September) would make it a more unique event, else it verges on becoming a Song of Month contest.

Yes, I was possibly thinking of doing it either at the start of summer or in the summer holidays, but I'm really not sure
