Major disappointment for Germany, which I thought should be a standout thing - and I'm very surprised to see us not going through this time, as Glasperlenspiel adds a message to the beautiful voice and beats used in the songs.
Another thing why I'd love to see us doming through is because we came on with an internationally unknown song. Isn't that the spirit of the DSC, to bring on some surprising and interesting stuff? #VoteGermany

In the song "Echt" the duo of "Glasperlenspiel" is talking about that moment, when you really feel something special. That moment, when something is truely remarkable and stays in your mind forever.
The video emphasizes this by the young man seeing the girl - and when she's gone he realizes that exactly that moment just happened. He tries to reach her at any consts of effort, but at the end he gives up on that. A coincident moment, when the old man drops the "Glasperlen", makes the two of those re-meet, and by re-recognizing that special moment the song ends.
The moral of the story is, that if you feel a special moment for real, than you should try and chase on what exactly makes you feel this special and good. Cause at the end there is something that rewards you for the efforts you do chasing your dreams and hopes.

Lol, nope This is a dance-pop contest won by relatively known dance-pop songs. You must be confusing the DSC with Eurovision, the contest for unkowns that ultimately win based on politics.

I'm really considering going for Canada next year. Also, we may all complain about dance pop, but ultimately it's a vote.

A big thanks to all the guys that voted for Germany! Now heading into the final we have to head without expectations, but a Top 10 would be nice again. But maybe the story has inspired one or two and we can pull out a surprise, it would be great to see
Btw: 4/5 from the second semifinal coming through is interesting, adds to my thoughts that it was the best semifinal in the history of the DSC.

Really glad to make it through! I have no expectations for the final, but again I just encourage everyone to listen to the whole song. I'd do a cover to hype support but I'm not sure I'm capable. We will see.
