If anyone wonders what's my training method, i'm basically trying to improve his weaknesses, to make him a well-rounded cyclist, and also a complete football player

Friends turned to foes. Walking through the Park Lane tunnel, I looked out to see the largest Isthmian League First Division North crowd of the season. 517 people had turned up to see the rematch of the season.
This was my moment to show up my former hometown team.
Match Day #24 at Canvey Island (11-5-7) A match like this you'll remember for the rest of your life.
Spoiler Witham 2, Canvey Island 2
Summary: One former Canvey Island star Ryan Charles played lights out with a pair of goals and another, Marcus Diamond, played like trash. Witham held the lead twice, but are rather lucky to snag a draw on the road. Canvey Island poured on the pressure late and should have finished a game winner in the final 10 minutes.
Rating: 6.4 - Nerves got the best of me, and a foolish challenge to be issued my first yellow card of the season didn't help.
Player of Game: Ryan Charles, Witham (8.8)
Match Day #25 vs. Bury Town (10-4-10) Another quality opponent in the promotion hunt.
Spoiler Witham 3, Bury Town 1
Summary: Witham picks up the slack after surrendering the first goal. Hat trick of assists for Luke Mallett to setup Elliot Ronto, Ryan Charles and Matt McFarlane.
Rating: 7.1 - Not exactly on good form at the moment. Coach is playing me further up the field when needed, but it's not working in my favor.
Player of Game: Luke Mallett, Witham (9.0)
Match Day #26 at Tilbury (5-12-7) Tilbury started hot and have cooled right off, 6 losses in last 7 games.
Spoiler Witham 2, Tilbury 1
Summary: Former Canvey Island studs get it done in Ryan Charles and Marcus Diamond. The precision finish from Diamond before halftime was unexpected and exquisite.
Rating: 8.0 - Weak foot, one-time strike into the far corner. Yeah, Hugo Lloris couldn't even save that one. My fifth career goal is a beauty and a game-winning goal.
Player of Game: Ryan Charles, Witham (8.3)
Match Day #27 vs. Coggeshall (16-6-4) Coggeshall is making a promotion push with 5 wins in its last 6 games.
Spoiler Coggeshall 1, Witham 0
Summary: In warm-ups prior to the match, Australia striker Elliot Ronto twisted his ankle and will miss the next few weeks. Leaving us without a true striker, as he was filling for Daniel Akindayini, who is seriously debating on retiring from football after getting his skull bashed in.
Our injury concerns were compounded on a 86th minute demoralizer.
This is the sixth time we have been shutout this season and fourth time it's been a 1-0 defeat. Coggeshall also beat us 1-0 earlier in the season.
Rating: 6.8 - Myself and the team wasn't creative at all going forward with Ryan Charles doing his best and failing to impersonate a target man against a good team.
Player of Game: Jack Curtis, Coggeshall (8.2)
League Standings (27/44 Games Played)
That loss to Coggeshall hurts more when looking at the standings. But, still in the hunt with 17 games remaining and we are still ahead of Canvey Island.

Spoiler - Each member gets 5.0 points to spread however they like over the 36 attributes listed above. One post per member.
- Stats work on a decimal system starting at 1.0.
- Stats are bumped up in FM when they hit that number, ex. 2.9 = 2 in-game, and 13.4 = 13 stat in-game.
- The decimal numbers will remain hidden.
- There is a threshold for each stat when more points are needed to increase that stat. It's start off on a 1-to-1 scale where 1 point equals 1 stat upgrade. However, the scales get exponentially further and further apart the closer that stat gets to the maximum of 20. The increasing scale will also remain a mystery and is different from the cycling progression scale.
-Comment below to provide stat upgrades.
Homecoming: Nobody correctly predicted the Witham vs. Canvey Island score, so no new players traits can be added.
The Training Grind: The season is coming to a close fast and it's difficult to stay focused in training. As a result, each of the three stat areas (Technical, Mental and Physical) will be assign a random multiplier of either x1 (normal), x.5 (half development) or x0 (no development) for the points given to their stats. Diamond will also be super focused in on one random stat that will provide a x2 boost.

In the 69th minute against Bedford on February 9, 2019, Marcus Diamond suffered a concussion on the following play.
Head physio Ryan Cooper has issued a time table of 2-3 weeks.
The injury is Diamond's second minor injury in his football career. It comes after a thrilling 3-3 draw with Harrow the week prior on Feb. 2.
"I got clipped with an elbow after attacking the ball," Diamond said. "I don't know what happened after that. I just blacked out. And I've been having headaches ever since. This sucks. I hope to get back on the field as soon as possible."
Diamond can't remember his training from last week,
so the previous training update won't be applied.

It feels like forever since I've updated my blog with my progress, or maybe that's just the memory loss in the aftermath of having a concussion. Either way, I was finally cleared to start competing again.
I was forced to miss my first two cycling races of the seasons at the GP Laguna Porec and GP Izola, but was given the OK to open my season at the Trofej Umag - Umag Trophy in Croatia. It's a race that's new to me.
Race Day #1 at Trofej Umag - Umag Trophy No expectations. Just happy to be racing again.
Spoiler
Summary: Late attacks on the final incline proved to be useless and a group of 50 cyclists sprint to the line. Alexander Kamp is the fastest. Youngster JLT Condor sprinter Jacob Scott took third place. Best finish so far for the 23-year-old.
Result: 19th - What happened to Canadians being nice and friendly? Hugo Houle from Torku Sekerspor nearly took me down in the sprint as he coasted back through the field after finishing his lead out. Seriously, get out of the way!
Houle ruined all the momentum I had and I settled for 19th. Not terrible, but I know it could have been better. Motivation to do better next time, and run over any cyclists that get in my way.

Pace Yourself: Returning from a delicate concussion injury, Marcus Diamond doesn't want to overexert himself in training this month. The more training points Marcus receives, the higher the chance his training session results will be ineffective. There is a fine line between pushing yourself and going too hard.
