You guys are some good guessers as it was my high school crush, Chloe.
She approached me after the race and congratulated me on the win
and she even asked if I wanted to hang out at the festival the following days.

Of course I said yes to this "date."
I'm sorry Katy Perry but California Girls are forgettable and deniable.
My country roots still held strong for my liking of country girls.
As Jason Aldean put it, "You boys ever met a real country girl?
Talkin, true blue, out in the woods, down home, country girl."

So, Chloe and I had a great time and hung out multiple times
throughout the festival but eventually the summer festival ended
and I had to catch a flight to California as my first pro race was waiting.

The good news is I got her number and will surely be staying in contract
and hopefully in the near future I will have myself a girlfriend.
She is reluctant to call me her boyfriend but it will happen eventually.
I don't play around with being in the "friend zone," I'm just to old for that.
