Alpe d'Huez one of the most feared climbs in all the world.
And here I was going to ride over it twice and I was more scared
about the descent in between both of the climbs.
--- *** --- *** --- *** ---
I'm coming in on the best form of my career with 3 straight victories.
We pick up the action halfway up the first time on Alpe d'Huez.
I have already rode away from the peloton and have a 2 minute lead.
There is still 40kms to go however so it's going to be a long day.
And a very lonely ride as well, at least a few people have made
the journey up the climb to support the riders today.
I have reached the finish, but there is still some more climbing to go.
Finally at the top, time to hold my breath for this crazy downhill.
Over the radio they are saying I have 5 minute lead.
I'm on pace for the fastest time an amateur has ever ridden this course!
I make it through the downhill without problems. Big relief.
Time to go up again, if you look down you can just see the guy chasing me.
5kms to go, I keep looking back but I can't see anybody.
Either these amateurs are really bad, or I must be crazy good.
Another win! But I come a minute short of the fastest time ever recorded.
And you have probably heard of him before as he just set it a few years ago.
A Frenchman named Thibaut Pinot, not a bad climber to be compared too.
I keep bring in the points, mind as well get them now as they are
going to be hard to come by when I finally reach the professional circuit.
One final race with the amateurs before I review my numerous contract offers for the 2013 season. So I wanted to try something I have never done before to give myself a challenge because you guys probably think I can win anything.
So let's stay in Europe for my last month of racing and ride some cobbles!
Cross your fingers I don't crash.
Spoiler
My training is now in your hands for the rest of my career.
After each race I can receive both EXP and Form Points.
EXP is a permanent stat gains while Form is temporary (the next race/stage).
A maximum of 3 EXP and 5 Form can be rewarded after each stage.
After any stage I receive EXP or Form points
you guys get to decided where I put those stat gains to use.
All you have to do is comment on which category you want
1 of the stat gains to go (Ex. Mountain, Sprint, Flat, etc.)
The EXP points are used up first followed by the Form.
Each member can only say one category for themselves.
And it will go until all the points are used up.
If you have any questions about my training, leave a question below.
It looks confusing at first but it's rather simple,
and this will be the only method for me to progress talent wise.

He's winning awfully easy here. Obviously he needs to bump up to a bigger league!

Yeah, Travis can handle a bigger level I think.
Also,
Why would he need mountain form at cobbles?! Guys, pay attention to what he's riding next next time please

Another win ...I hope he is being tested on a regular basis! I'm getting suspicious now!
Jesleyh - I think maybe people are trying to sabotage his races in an attempt to give the AI a chance.

Spoiler
For those that are getting suspicious, I'm using the stats posted
along with the worst 9 teams in the PCM.Daily Real Name DB - AngloEdition.
(Difficulty: First 4 races on Normal then I bumped it up to Hard.)
But don't worry the competition surely will get stronger
when he reaches the professional circuit.
EXP - Flat, Mountain, Cobbles / Form - Cobbles (x2), Sprint, RES, Mountain

Hopefully my final race on the amateur circuit, so why not challenge myself.
I decided it was time to ride the cobbles for the first time in my career.
--- *** --- *** --- *** ---
I didn't expect much, as long as I didn't crash I would be happy.
At least I get to ride around Belgium for the day.
And I'm dropped 80kms into the stage, I survived 3 cobbled sections.
Now I could ride at my own pace for the remaining 40kms.
One thing I won't miss about today, the mud.
Eventually I meet up with some other cyclists that got dropped
and we "talk" for the rest of the ride (they only spoke Flemish and German).
I couldn't understand most of what they were saying but it was still enjoyable.
I finished 38th out of 55. Not bad for my first time riding on cobbles.
And I didn't crash! That right there is a major plus.
The cobbles were an experience in and of itself, so 3 points there.
But this was my last race of the 2012 season,
so no form points since I don't know what my next race will be.
Now time for Kyle and I to sort out my contract offers for next year.
Spoiler
