Stats cannot always reflect anything, gundir.
With Valls on form 1, a decent but not great startfield, favourites not in total peak, some luck, you can probably get him in Top 10.
PCM is too limited to be able to take everything into account and reproduce everything. Diaz won't win San Luis but we simply can't give him 79MO because it mostly has to do with form(and some luck I guess), for instance
You're free to edit anything you want in your game if you disagree
@fjhoekie
Very odd. Did plenty of 3D tests but had no problem. It could as well be a random thing but I don't want to risk that, will provide a fix(hopefully without requiring a new career) asap.

Some stats are weird though. I just checked two young (Belgian) riders, Wellens & Stuyven.
Wellens won the Eneco Tour and finished 8th in the Geraardsbergen stage, yet he has only 64 in COB. In the Giro, he was 2nd on stage 17, 9th on stage 19 (MTT) and 19th (among the big favourites) on stage 20 (Monte Zoncolan), yet he only has 70 in REC (which isn't much compared to Kelderman who has 74 while losing time on all mentioned stages).
Stuyven finished 9th in the closing 9km TT of the Vuelta, yet he has 67 in REC and 65 in PRL. He also finished top 10 (3x top 5 even) on ALL Vuelta sprinting stages and yet he only has 72 in SPR.
You have to admit these stats are far from being correct...
BTW, this is no case of favouritism. Just saying...

You are right, even though the Vuelta sprinting field was weak, Stuyven could've had a boost. Sorry
Wellens wasn't riding for a GC in the Giro so that is hard to judge.
Judging the stats on 2 Belgian riders is a bit short-sighted though but alright you got a fair point, I forgot to adjust them
Meanwhile, I haven't found any jersey or something that could cause the crash, fjhoekie.
I also got the NZCC to work. Did it crash to desktop to you or just freeze?
Could you please attach a weekly save(pre-NZCC) so I could try to reproduce it that way?

Guess this Weekly Save should be just ahead of the NZCC. https://weshare.me/b67e9dec7c077988/Ca...5-1-26.cdb
Game froze 3 times, twice on stage 1 before I simmed it, once on stage 2.
Also it crahsed to desktop once on stage 2.
Don't mind my lack of race planning, just an orientation if I like to play with Dubai or not
Also restarted my pc, does get past the 20th team, but crashes on rider 32/180.

No need to apologize. I'm also not judging the entire db on these two cases. Don't worry! You did a terrific job. ;-)

@Fjhoekie
Well, it works fine for me
It did freeze, but sometimes you just gotta be patient and sit still, I guess. I waited 20 additional seconds and it just worked. It might be annoying but not really something I can help with.

Hmm. I'm sorry for you.
(Although I'm glad it's not something that's wrong with the DB )

Romain Sicard is like Maté 71/71, I supose that is a editor's problem because he is better rider than 71/71

I think it is because I lost some stat progress at some point(very frustrating) so I had to re-do some of the changes I did.
I did most, but I might have forgotten to re-do a small few.
I guess about 74SP/75ACC/72HI.

I give you guys a lot of credit for so many new young riders that have popped up in teams late last year or this year. Several of these born 96 and 95 will make some impact on minor races and it's nice to see how they develop.
You have covered a lot of them. Great.
All talk about few pts up or down on known top riders can be debated for ever, so I am glad you pay attention on getting the basic correct. A rider mentioned on the teams website as a sprinter, should have acc/spr on higher levels than several of his other ratings.
That is what I think is the most important.
After all mates these are humans and not any ratings in the world can be correct to the last inch. Keep strength on having a so called sprinter as such, and climber and TT riders as such in the big general view.
Keep up the work

I have just installed your DB over EP V2 and I got the pink squares instead of minimaillots. Everything else is working fine.
Why is 2015 MSR route including Pompeiana?

Hmm have you installed the V1 before you installed the V1.5 then?
Damn good question. Well I didn't include the 2015 MSR myself, I think the Exp Pack did that so couldn't really help it.

After a couple of years' absence from PCM, I'm back to playing with this DB. Great work! Hopefully the 2014 version of the game is as good as earlier versions.
A couple of questions about the DB (sorry, can't be bothered to wait until I've installed it )
Is the year set to 2015, so that rider ages are correct? And are the main results from 2014 included in the riders' palmares? I love playing long careers, and correct historical results really add to the experience, especially when I try breaking GT stage win records etc.
And if I could ask a small favour? I used to do a lot of db editing myself when I played earlier versions, but I don't have any of the tools available on this computer as of now. Could you maybe upload a .cdb file with the stat fixes the above comments have reminded you of? It's annoying playing with a DB knowing there is something "wrong" with it

Opinions differ about PCM 14 but I personally like it. Thanks
Yes, year obviously to 2015. Didn't have the time(or motivation) to do the 2014 palmares just yet, sorry. It's done from 2008-2013 or something though, I believe.
