I like cobbled races in PCM 2006: realistic riding on cobblestones and realistic results. Omloop is for Big George this time

Yeah, clicking the image works fine for me. And I do not see it as a problem.

I don't think having to click on the image to read it is any problem either. I like the look of it

The craziest thing about this story is that Francisco Mancebo is your veteran leader in 2006, but he's still riding now.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

As Davide Rebellin too! Mancebo is 45, Rebellin is 49 y.o. and both are still active This is true love for cycling.

@ All - Thanks for responding about the image. I think I might play around with a few more designs, but I really appreciate the feedback so far.
@ Markene - Thanks
@ Tomcat & baseball - Indeed, I think he still gets pretty decent results in Japan. I dont think he's even raced at top level since 2008 or earlier but to still be riding is amazing.

Predictable results. We don't wait anything in cobbled & hilly classics from AG2R, but maybe stage win in Paris-Nice for a start

Tough start for AG2R with 31 and 41 in the first 2 races. I am certain you'll build up from this.

Thanks guys. Its been a tough start so far, but I promise things get better soon.
Jose Chacon was a legend in PPDB.
Also, sorry about the slow updates recently, my girlfriend and I have both had graduation ceremonies, and I've been looking for a career now. I was interviewed by a former professional cyclist the other day, which has got to be about the last thing I was expecting, being from Canada.

Paris - Nice 2006
Due to some peculiar weather, and perhaps many of the top riders playing it safe with their bike and gear choices, Riblon of AG2R was able to save his energy for the final climb in the open stage of Paris - Nice to take an upset win. Bernhard Eisel makes in two wins in a row for French teams, as he upsets some of the big name sprinters like Kirsipuu and Boonen. Tornado Tom couldn't be stopped for long, as he takes the win on Stage 3 Di Luca takes the win and the leaders jersey after a tense battle. The weather surely played a part in the festivities, but Valverde couldn't outsprint the Killer. Valverde takes the leaders jersey back as he outsprints the reduced group up the final hill. He's nearly unbeatable in these situations. Another day for the sprinters, and Sacchi takes the win for Team Milram. Carl Naibo of AG2R narrowly hangs on from the break to take a massive win for his team, just narrowly edging out Tom Boonen. Down nearly 11 minutes in the GC, Ivan Basso consolidates his race with a breakaway victory on the final day in Nice. 1 | Alejandro Valverde | CAISSE D'EPARGNE | 33h39'33 | 2 | Danilo Di Luca | LIQUIGAS | + 31 | 3 | Sandy Casar | FRANÇAISE DES JEUX | + 40 | 4 | Samuel Sánchez | EUSKALTEL - EUSKADI | + 47 | 5 | Martin Perdiguero | PHONAK | + 48 | 6 | Christophe Brandt | DAVITAMON - LOTTO | + 2'33 | 7 | Joaquin Rodriguez | CAISSE D'EPARGNE | + 2'34 | 8 | Karsten Kroon | TEAM CSC | + 2'42 | 9 | Koldo Gil | SAUNIER DUVAL - PRODIR | + 2'50 | 10 | Jérôme Pineau | BOUYGUES TELECOM | + 2'58 |

So it's time to take part in prediction games
Let's save the history of PCM together!
Just write me a PM if you have something for old PCM Editions (from 2005 to 2014) - databases, stages, shirts etc. and we'll share it.

Man this is just the best PCM ever. For me at least. I am 27yo, played every PCM has ever existed. The memories are infinite!
Even nowadays I still have the music on my mind xD "mooove, yourrr, booodyyy"
Im very happy to see there are people still playing this game!

Haha, you were right. The TT was just weirdly played by the AI. I guess they ride a consistent pace, but I went hard on the climb and then knew I wouldnt burn as much for the descent. The other was a nice breakaway win, which worked out really well I think, compared to 2021 AI.

Nice of you to post here! Welcome.
I am really enjoying it all, and I miss the names of this era. The music is definitely better from 06-08 than in the newest games too.

I noticed AI is perfect on flat TT, but there're some issues on hilly and mountain ones from PCM 2006 to PCM 2020 (didn't play PCM 2021 yet). For example I played for Polish DHL Author (very weak team) in PCM 2010 and I won many hilly TT with those guys...
P.S. And yes - I also went hard on climbs didn't spending much on later downhills. AI just can't count so.

Congratulations on the stage victories! It was also good to see Basso winning a stage, although he was so far behind in the GC.
