Not exactly amazing company he's surrounded with But still, an awesome result for a 19year old!
Voeckler and Pozzovivo, where i heard about those guys, i am sure i did somewhere.

Will have to keep an eye on Barguil. He already has a contract with Argos next year and as a stagiare this year. He also won the final stage of l'Avenir last year ahead of Cattaneo.

Wow, Boonen beats Greipel, Kristoff, Renshaw et al. in a flat sprint. A surprise, I think also for him.

World Ports Classic - Stage 1
1 Tom Boonen (Omega Pharma Quick Step)
2 Andre Greipel (Lotto Belisol)
3 Alexander Kristoff (BMC)
4 Blaz Jarc (NetApp)
5 Matk Renshaw (Rabobank)
6 Steele Von Hoff (Garmi)
7 Jonathan Cantwell (Garmin Sharp)
8 Michael Van Staeyen (Topsport Vlanderen)
9 Guillaume Boivin (Spidertech)
10 Daniel Schorn (NetApp)
Very good racing there. OPQS probably fucked up letting Greipel and others to come back because they refused to chase having Fenn up the road, but at least Tommeke took the sprint. It was insanely fast, that helped Boonen surely.

I think that the women's football game was too late so the race didn't get transmited. It's currently beeing transmited on delay.

Average of over 52 km/h for 200 km of racing. Peleton ended at almost half an hour, and outside of the time limit. But then they just shifted the limit from 8% to 12%, problem solved...

What a win for Boonen, and it's great for the race to have such a name on the winner's list.

This is utter bullshit. They should get rid of the time limit if they won't use it.

That's just a bit shorter than the average Vuelta stage.
