Well that was decent racing I guess. Tomorrow is list as a "hilly" stage despite not having a hill in it. Empire Pass should kill off Tschopp, if it does I think Dombrowski could take his first pro win.

Sadly I missed it tonight, but the results look pretty good.

I thought Boswell was more a puncheur guy, or is he the allround package?
(he'll be a stagiare for Argos right after the race, didn't heard of that before Shock )

Somehow I seem to like Dombrowski, even though I have rarely seen him racing.
It looks like we are following a future great of the sport here.

baseballlover312
Boswell is great at cobbles, good at hills, and now we see he can climb too. Two of the future we're watching with the Bontrager guys.

Argos? WTF?

Why Argos? Doesn't he want to feature at USAPCC too?

Konig Cool

Would have loved to see what he could do in the Giro.

And Boswell is just really good. He's been in my spotlight for a long time, and one of Americas brightest stars behind Dombrowski.

Looks like Boswell's mom was right Wink

I think that Dombrowski could definently win tomorrow and take the GC. Levi might be able to win the stage (he suggested the climb to the race orgainizers so it must suit him) but I think he is too far back to take the GC.

This, i am still disappointed that he had to miss it. Frown
I hope he will end in the bigger team someday, he is very talented...

Yeah, but despite his attack yesterday, he didn't fully impress, I think.
He's getting old, maybe a bit too old.

However, he's free to prove me wrong, it'd be great Wink

Difficult to see tbh Wink

So today was his day apparently. Attacked and had 2 mins over the top just to win with ~45 secs over Kruijswijk and König who were in a group of maybe ten with Vandevelde notably missing.

Other "highlights" of the day:

- commentators managing to pronounce Duggan correct for about 15 seconds before going back to (Scooby-)Doo-gan

-camera work gives no idea about race situation (how about showing helicopter views of the countryside for some minutes while everyone attacks)

-the climb being super-super-super-super-steep

-and the "Swede" Tschopp

Levi takes the stage but doesn't get a top 5 in the overall. Kelderman had a disapointing ride but finishes 18th in GC.

Great ride by König to grab a podium Smile

Also nice rides for young guns Boswell and Dombrowski, i think USA GT distant future is bright.

nice performance by the young Americans, looks like they have a bright future ahead of themSmile

but I am really happy to see König getting back on track Grin he is steadily improving after his back problem - too bad he missed the Giro. I can't wait to see how he performs in a GT next year

Just for the record, I did mean Leipheimer is getting too old.
It would be dumb to say a 21 year old is getting too old, wouldn't it? Pfft
