Interesting to mark Hammarling as potential Olympic candidate, seeing as he's retiring from CX after this season. I guess he could make a one-off comeback but it's not planned for the moment

Bad, bad... this was a race where Vague should shine and just like last year, he lost ground. Though Olympic Race can and will be much different, it doesn't bode well so far. Lipawsky is suddenly so damn consistent, he is even scary close in UCI classification now. Van Dyck is Ian Butler incognitio.

Basically it was just a way to get the race postponed/changed/cancelled/future unclear and since it was Japan my mind jumped to an earthquake. As Japan is vulnerable that way.
Since it's a fictional earthquake with fictional people, I don't see how this should be a problem. Nobody was hurt and I don't think this disrespects actual victims of earthquakes.
