Yayayayayayayayaayayayayay <3
I explain it like this for new players: This game is (a truly amazing and well designed) piece of clockwork.
We all have cogs, some small neo-pros, some big Vagues and Cooks. But every tiny movement effects the clock, and the place of some other cogs, as well as that cog. It effects the way it moves, feels, looks, breathes.
Didn't we agree on Nvanderpoel around Rio last year (Matt's suggestion iirc) ?

Damn you, Shonak!
I'm going to boycott his middle name by not using it anymore. How'd you like that?

“I’m fine, a bit nervous. Very nervous in fact. But only for the interview now. I’m confident when it comes to the upcoming race. I’m just excited to see how I’ll be doing.”
The first thing Vague ever calls himself is nervous (or fine ) and he does so twice, that must be his name then.

Maybe Franics is actually his middle name and he thinks he is James Bond. Vague is a "Vague" stage name so really he is:
Nervous. Very Nervous.
That probably only makes sense to me.
So basically. His real name is Very Francis Nervous.
He enters with his middle name, Francis, and switches his first and last name (now middle and last. But Francis Very sounds wrong, so he goes for Francis Visconthuys. But that's a bit low ambitions. Gascontrevewalle. But that's a bit Vague? Who is his idol? Then it hits him. Vague. But he wants to tell mum and dad he is still their boy, only 80% attention hungry prat. His dad's fave movie is James Bond so he says he is Nevous. Very Nervous.

That makes much more sense, maybe when he said that he was actually correcting the reporters on using the wrong name, but then just decided to take it instead because they kept calling him it.
"How are you feeling today Vague?"
"I'm Nervous Very Nervous, in fact."
EDIT: I've been trying to like your post for the last 5 minutes, this computer is so bad.

However you are right in that it's not a traditional name but it's not Nervous. I have the strong feeling that the result will just disappoint you guys.

We just have to take all the words starting with N in the first post:
Nice, newspaper, newest, nine-teen, nervous, nervous, names, national, national, negotiations, not, nations, natural, now, now.
I lot of those work very well such as Francis Not Vague.

I know what it is:
Nouvelle.
Tell me I'm right, Shonak.
His name is Francis N. Vague.
His banner says: The New Wave.
Vague = Wave in French.
Nouvelle Vague = New Wave.
Francis New Wave.
Francis Nouvelle Vague.
Holy shit I cracked the code

Hey, it wasn't some news item. It was Jannes Vandewalle. Go wash your keyboard out with soap and water, journalist x!

Should've known much earlier since I'm a big fan of Godard (and Truffaut!)
Oh man, instead of a boycott I'm only gonna use his middle name from now on.
World Champion Nouvelle attacks. And Nouvelle goes down!
Sounds... strange
EDIT: Page 99, we have to start thinking about a new name! No, wait, that's just Café Pedro
Awesome, guys. Thanks a lot for all your involvement so far. Never could've hoped of (almost) reaching 100 pages with this! (new goal: 100 pages in the Game Thread!)
